  • Free Lunch and Unlimited Snacks: Zocdoc offers free healthy snacks, beverages and catered lunch every day (including at least one healthy option).   • All Hands Weekly Meetings and Happy Hour: We host an all-hands company meeting called ZocTalk every Friday. In addition to an executive-led week in review, each week, a different team member gives a TED-style deep dive talk on a big win, project, or current event. Every ZocTalk ends with an open Q+A and office-wide happy hour to kick off the weekend.
  • Giving Back on our Birthday: During Zocdoc's ‘birthday’ week, we encourage all team members to take paid time off to volunteer together to help those within our communities. It’s a symbol of our commitment to bettering the communities and the world we live in. Zocdoc coordinates these volunteer opportunities – with local food banks, hospitals, and more – and makes it easy for team members to join in and give back. From our highest-ranking executives to entry-level employees, the vast majority of the Zocdoc team members eagerly participate.
  • Annual Awards Show: We host an annual end-of-year award ceremony to recognize seven peer-nominated team members; each who embodies one of our core values. The event is a full-scale production with dances, musical acts and skits, written and performed by Zocdoc’rs. It's consistently one of our employees' favorite days of the year.
  • Office Hours: All of Zocdoc's leaders at the executive and director level hold weekly office hours. All office hours are posted on our company-wide intranet, and employees across any office can sign up for one-on-one time with any leader—to ask questions, offer feedback, brainstorm, or just spend time getting to know one another. It's a great way to connect with our leadership and ensure the team is accessible to everyone, across all departments and no matter their role.
  • Zocdoc Clubs: Zocdoc’rs are encouraged to join clubs to explore their shared interests and connect with employees outside of their own team or department. Some of our extracurricular clubs include the ZocCommunity Club, Women at Zocdoc, ZocPride, ZocFoodies, and the Board Games Club. Members attend relevant external events together, host frequent meet-ups and get-togethers, invite outside speakers to the office, and more.
  • Special Monthly Zunches: We promote cross-department collaboration through “Zunch,” a special monthly lunch where team members who don’t typically work closely are assigned to a table together. The lunch starts with an icebreaker question or brainstorm and ends with a special dessert. Some of the company’s best ideas and connections have come from Zunch.
  • Hackathons: Our engineering, design and product teams hold off-site retreats to relax, bond and take time to step away from their day-to-day to work on special projects. During these hackathons, team members are challenged to hone skills they don’t typically use in their daily jobs, and tackle new projects of interest that expand their scope and tool-kits.
  • Collaborative and Bright Workspace: We have a bright, open office space with bike racks, games and lounge spaces for team members to connect and relax. In the dedicated Fun Room, employees often meet to take a break, grab a snack or play a friendly game of ping-pong or basketball.
