  • Collective Health: Employees get an upgrade from the status quo in a people-first healthcare experience, Collective Health. They call one number, visit one website, and have one login for all their medical, dental, and vision needs.
  • 16-week parental leave: Zendesk offers all employees—regardless of gender, parental role, and circumstance (including adoption)—16 weeks of parental leave.
  • Professional Development Program: Zendesk offers a $1500 USD learning balance annually for full-time employees to pursue external learning opportunities such as professional conferences and courses to develop new technical skills.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Program: Our ESPP allows eligible employees to use payroll contributions to purchase company stock at a discount. Our plan offers an 18-month offering period that has three 6-month purchase periods. The stock purchases take place on the last day of each purchase period (subject to the other terms of the ESPP). At the end of a purchase period, the stock will be purchased at 85% of the closing price of the Common Stock on the New York Stock Exchange on either the first day of the offering period or last business day of the purchase period within the offering period, whichever is less.
  • Take what you need PTO: We believe that when people have good work-life integration, they are more successful. This is modeled throughout Zendesk with our "take what you need" PTO policy.
  • Weekly Volunteering: Zendesk offers weekly organized volunteering activities in our communities. This includes meal service, tutoring local youth, and bingo with seniors. We also encourage employees to participate in skills-based community engagement such as using engineering resources to build products that assist our low-income neighbors. In addition, Zendesk provides educational opportunities for employees to learn about issues that impact their neighborhoods so they can better understand and engage with them.
  • Wellness Program: Our new Wellness at Zendesk program was created to help the Zendesk community become aware of and make choices that promote a healthy balance of the mind, body, and spirit. Our programming is based on local employees' interests, celebrating each office's unique culture. Some of our most popular offerings include yoga and bootcamp classes, healthy cooking contests, lunch & learn sessions, and mindfulness meditation groups.
  • Free membership to One Medical: San Francisco-based employees and their significant others have access to same-day doctor appointments and direct email access to doctors.
  • Blue Board Experiences: When our employees perform well—by closing a big deal, referring an excellent candidate, and more—we reward them with their choice of memorable Blueboard experiences. At Zendesk, we foster a diverse and inclusive workplace, but there are some commonalities that all successful Zendeskians share.
