  • Unlimited Paid Time Off: XPLANE offers employees a unlimited PTO program after one year of employment. This can be used for volunteering, taking care of children, sick days, or just lounging around in sweat pants. We have full trust in our employees to flex their time in a way that works best for them.
  • Robust Personal/Parental Leave: Having a kiddo? XPLANE offers 12 weeks of paid maternity/paternity leave. We stand by families and know how important paid leave is.
  • Innovation Day: XPLANE sets aside one full working day per month to focus on individual and organizational innovation. Food and drinks are served so that employees can focus on innovation.
  • Work Life: There is no nine-to-five clock at XPLANE. Employees are given complete freedom to modify their schedule as needed as long as they get the work done. We have a communication channel where people can post their where abouts but no one needs to ask permission. Likewise, employees can work from home as needed.
  • WLB Reimbursement: Employees are reimbursed up to $200 per month for health and wellness services and products, e.g. house cleaning, pet sitting, babysitting, gym fees, massage/chiropractic care, transportation costs, and travel memberships.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

Curiosity. Great XPLANErs are passionate about understanding things completely. They ask great questions, listen well, and pay attention to the details.
Great Collaborators. Our team loves to collaborate in safe, egoless environments. We believe the best solutions come from teams, with diverse talents and backgrounds, working together.
Visual thinkers. XPLANErs love to draw their ideas. They are the people that immediately jump to the whiteboard during a meeting to visual their ideas.
Oh, and a good sense of humor helps :) 

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

Many of our employees came to know us through our Visual Thinking School, while others have knocked our socks off with visual resumes and stunning portfolios of relevant work. Once we've started talking, it's critical that they've done their research and understand our company; what we do and how we work. Often times people join us as freelancers. This affords potential hires the opportunity to showcase their skills on actual client work.
