  • Open Office Hours with Our Founder/CEO: Our CEO has open office hours - one hour per week - scheduled for anyone to pick up the phone or stop by his office to chat about anything - questions? thoughts? ideas? With his transparent approach, all topics are fair game.
  • Bring Your Child to Work Day: At Wowza, we encourage learning and curiosity, and what better way to share that, than with our children? Which is why we put so much care and attention into Bring Your Child to Work Day. It is an "All Hands On Deck" day full of fun, learning, play and... did I say learning? With Wowza employees volunteering to lead age appropriate activities that teach kids about technology and how coding can be fun, the kids leave knowing more about Wowza, video streaming, coding, and what their parents do all day! Of course we then have a difficult time explaining that we don't actually eat ice cream and play with robotics every day...
  • Bring Your Dog to the Office: We love our four legged friends and encourage our employees to share theirs with us by bringing them to the office for some spoiling. It doesn't take long for them to learn where they can find the dog treats around the office, and that all they have to do is drop by and wag their tail for one! What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

We are looking for people who are passionate about what they do, have a natural curiosity towards continuous learning, and who demonstrate and appreciate humility, respect and integrity.  At Wowza, we seek candidates who will work well in a colaborative environment, sharing their passion and expertise with our team members so we can help our customers thrive and drive the streaming revolution.  At Wowza, we put customers first, and we are always willing to chip in and do what we can to help our fellow teammates.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

We love to see people who love what they do and want to share their excitement in their work with us.  Candidates that want to know as much about us as we want to know about them demonstrate that being at the right company in the right position is important to them.  We look for candidates who are naturally inquisitive as to how they can fit in at Wowza and how they can make a difference in our organization. We have cool products and love it when prospective employees understand what we do and can have fun with the technology.  Sharing why they want to be part of the Wowza story and how they can make a difference will make someone stand out.
