What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
It's important to make sure your experience and resume aligns to the position of interest. During the initial screening, we look for passion. IT is a buzzword laden industry and it's important to have passion and substance beyond the jargon. Being able to show examples of going above and beyond are important. That's a big part of the culture at WWT.
Are there any unusual or especially rigorous steps of your hiring process that candidates should be aware of?
WWT takes its culture very seriously. Therefore, when interviewing our interview process can be lengthy at times. We incorporate teams into the interview process, along with HR and hiring managers to determine the best technical/functional and cultural fit within the organization. Typically there will be course of at least 3 interviews before a hiring decision is made. We try to expedite this process by enabling our video capabilities and technology.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
This year, our focus has been investing in top level talent across all areas of our business; Sales/ Engineering/ Marketing/ Business Development/ Sales Operations/ Logistics/ Professional Services.
