  • Wellness Program: Woolpert provides an extensive wellness program that includes a “gamified” online portal with walking and healthy habit challenges, live workouts hosted in our offices, and monthly “brunch n’ learns” to discuss various physical and mental health topics. The program involves a point system that allow employees to receive physical rewards for healthy behaviors.
  • Employee Referral Program: Employees can earn up to $5,000 for making a successful employee referral, with one-third of the fee paid upfront after the referred employee begins employment. Employees making referrals also are entered into a biannual drawing that could earn them an additional $3,000.
  • Community Outreach Events: Woolpert participates in various community outreach events throughout the year including highway, shoreline and forest cleanups, as well as charity events, races and walks. Woolpert pays entry fees for employees for several of these events across the country.
  • WOW Awards Program: The WOW (What Outstanding Work) awards program allows all staff members to recognize other employees for work that goes above and beyond normal job responsibilities. In addition to receiving a certificate for display, these honored employees can earn cash, gift certificates or Woolpert sportswear.
  • Fun Committee Events: Woolpert provides funding for each office to plan and execute team-building activities designed to engage and forge bonds between all employees during work and non-work hours. These activities have included painting parties, movie nights, bowling outings, paint-ball turkey shoots, free carry-in lunches and more.
  • 494 Work Program: As an alternative option to the usual eight-hour, five-day work week, full-time employees are allowed to work four nine-hour days and a half day on Friday.
  • Flextime Policy: Employees may work a shift outside of the normal 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. shift with supervisor approval, with shifts starting as early as 6 a.m. and ending as late as 7 p.m.
  • Vertical and Horizontal Growth Opportunities: Woolpert promotes and helps people grow in their desired career path; however, because our company involves a full gamut of services, opportunities to discover interests outside of an employee’s team is widely available.
  • Participation in Recreation Teams: Woolpert covers the cost for employees to participate in sports team events such as basketball, baseball, etc., and contributes up to $10 toward the employee’s team shirt.
