What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

We want to retain and hire the best so we can provide the best service. We are fun, safe, goal-oriented, progressive in our thinking, and focused and committed to delivering on our numbers to achieve high performance. We strive to take a balanced approach to decision making that considers clients, employees and financial success as well as geographies and our markets and disciplines. This is who we are, and who we are defines us as a culture.”
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
We have a strong online presence, so interacting in that forum would be a great place to start. Following us on LinkedIn and Twitter or liking our Facebook page are great ways to get to know us and to get on our radar. Another route is to engage with our employees by visiting our booths at career fairs and trade shows.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
Yes. We anticipate needing to hire more entry-level candidates within our various markets and disciplines, such as engineering, surveying and architecture, to name a few.
Overall we are taking a more proactive, recruiting approach to hiring rather than passive job postings. We have narrowed but focused our recruiters, stressed and communicated the benefits of employee referral programs, and improved promotion of our unique value in the marketplace to attract top talent.
