Perks and Programs

We asked VMS BioMarketing to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Birth and Adoption Award Program: Upon the birth or adoption of a child, an employee is gifted one week of pay for each full year of employment at VMS.
  • Philanthropy Days: VMS employees are provided with unlimited paid days to contribute their time to their favorite charitable organization.
  • Employee Referral Program: Team members will receive $500 for referring a candidate who is hired as a regular full-time employee and also successfully completes 90 days of employment at VMS.
  • Workplace Flexibility: VMS corporate employees may choose a 7-4, 8-5 or 9-6 schedule in order to help with work/life balance. All employees also have the ability to work from home in varying degrees depending on their role, and some roles have been designed to be completely remote.
  • Summer Half Days: In addition to a generous holiday and paid time-off schedule, we all want to soak in the summer sun. At the VMS offices, between Memorial Day and Labor Day, each employee is provided with 3 half days to use as they like. Some combine them to make a mini- vacation; others just see the forecast and choose to sleep in late or leave early.
  • Committees: At VMS, you can serve on one of the following committees: Rec and Morale, which celebrates our staff in big and small ways all year-round; Philanthropy, which focuses on serving the community through service projects and fundraisers; or Live Well, which looks for ways to improve the health and wellness of our company as a whole.
  • Client Referral Program: At VMS, growing the current pipeline of business falls not only to our clients services team - it's everyone's job. For that reason, we have a referral program in place for any staff member who brings in a new lead, resulting in a new opportunity for VMS to empower patients.

How to Get Hired

We asked VMS BioMarketing for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

At VMS, we are passionate about patient empowerment.  We  thrive in the hustle and bustle of an ever-changing pharmaceutical and biotech industry. We find great power in checking egos at the door, and simply collaborating. We hire experts, and we trust experts. We take risks. We fail fast. We find solutions. We celebrate successes.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

We love to hear from prospective employees! Clinicians can visit our Careers page and create a profile for us to use for future opportunities, and fill out an application to an open position or one of our general "bench" job postings. Keep up to date by following VMS on Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn, and connect directly with our HR and Recruiting team on LinkedIn.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

We will continue to partner with pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies that support patients in many ways along their journey. We will search for the best Clinical Educators who are licensed healthcare professionals with a variety of backgrounds and credentials. As we engage with new clients, we will also have opportunities for new talent at our corporate office in Indianapolis as well.

What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?

We post open positions on our website, www.vmsbiomarketing.com. Follow us on LinkedIN to watch for more.  We also have a Clinical Educator profile survey on the Careers page of our website, which will enable us to quickly identify top talent when a new project comes to fruition!
