What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
After extensive internal conversation and employee participation, we've created a manifesto that states our values (curiousity, growth, excellence and integrity), our purpose (Everyday we challenge ourselves too reimagine style and science, bringing joy to peoples' lives--starting with their feet.), and our behaviors (Honest and honorable, brave and bold, caring and compassionate) and our employees defined wht are behaviors are and are not. Our manifesto guides us in making hiring decisions to find candidates that exemplify and support or culture. We are looking for cadidates who are skilled and engaged in the position for which they are applying and have a light heartedness that allows for a giggle.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
We are looking for people who have done their homework on who we are and are able to articulate how they will add value to our business with this skill set and culturally. We offer them the manifesto upon intital in person interview arrival and appreciate the candiate who can speak to how their own values align with our business model.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
Candidates who are able to support our business and growth startegy and want to have fun while they do it. We have grown in many areas over the last several years but the upcoming year will focus on growing our medical team, product and internationally.
