Perks and Programs

We asked Vested, LLC to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Unlimited PTO / No-questions-asked remote policy: Employees can take unlimited PTO -- up to 10 consecutive days at a time -- and can work remotely if and as needed to best manage their work and life priorities.
  • Real, dividend-yielding equity in the business: The company offers current employees real equity in the business, providing access to a share of profits in a transaction, and yielding dividends in the meantime.
  • Profit sharing: In addition to a flat contribution to all employees’ 401(k) accounts (regardless of whether or not they contribute), Vested leadership may opt to share a percentage of company profits with the employees. Last year, 3% of profits went to employees.
  • Transparent bonus structure and program: Bonuses are tied to employee and business performance. The calculation is equal and transparent. And there are additional bonus opportunities -- through client, employee and recruiter referrals.
  • Three-month paid sabbatical: To actively combat professional burnout, Vested offers employees a three-month paid sabbatical after four years of employment.
  • Twice-annual, 360-degree reviews: Employees get comprehensive feedback about their progress in January and July -- so they can continually improve. However, promotions are based on merit and not solely tied to these periods.
  • Series 7 training, and ongoing education: The Series 7 exam is covers capital markets and regulation, and is a mandatory exam for stockbrokers. Though non-securities professionals can’t sit for the exam, all Vested employees receive training for the exam. Vested additionally organizes writing and editing training, weekly “Lunch + Learn” sessions, and quarterly economist insights featuring our Chief Economist. The firm will also fund additional coursework if relevant to client or company work. Oh, and we have a huge library featuring financial and professional books!
  • Pro-bono work: We know Millennials care about giving back, which is why we provide pro-bono support for the Museum of American Finance, and co-chair the MoAF’s Communications Executives Advisory Panel. The Museum of American Finance is the only financial museum in America (China has more than 20).
  • Starbucks / Bluestone Lane accounts: All employees have access to corporate accounts at Starbucks and Bluestone Lane. Because employees are literally equity owners in the business, we trust them to use this and similar perks respectfully.
  • Uber corporate account: Employees have access to the corporate Uber account and can order a car if and as needed.
