We look for candidates who are extremely conscientious and who have demonstrated taking initiative in past experiences. We also look for people who are passionate about learning, intellectually curious and motivated for the specific role they are interviewing for. Team players are a must, since a lot of the work we do is collaborative in nature, but it's also vital that you can work independently. It's important that you are able to take and give feedback readily, as we have a very transparent environment and value open discussion and feedback.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
Candidates should be able to convince us that they are truly interested in the role they are interviewing for. We value candidates taking the time to do research on our company and asking thoughtful questions during the interview process.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
Right now we are focused on growing our Editorial and Product teams, which involves hiring Staff Writers and Research Analysts. We are also adding to our international team, expanding into new markets beyond the US, Singapore and Korea.
