  • Employee Education: The USAA Employee Education Program provides payment to full-time and part-time employees of up to $10,000 per year for approved educational expenses for college degrees or professional designations. The program allows employees the opportunity to obtain new knowledge and skills to maintain their current positions and be better prepared for career opportunities within the company.
  • Annual and Holiday Bonus: Employees may be provided with an annual bonus, which is tied to the achievement of company-wide performance metrics that are set annually by the Board of Directors. Employees may also be provided with a holiday bonus, which is an additional cash amount equivalent to two weeks salary.
  • Retirement Savings Plan: To help employees prepare for retirement and meet their retirement goals, USAA offers a 401(k) plan which provides a dollar-for-dollar match on up to the first 8 percent of eligible pay every pay period.
  • Retirement Plus: An additional discretionary, age-based contribution of up to 9% of total pay to an employees retirement account.
  • Eat Right: As part of the USAA “Take Care of Your Health” program, USAA offers a 50% discount on over 250 healthy food items in USAA café’s and minimarts. The program is available to USAA employees at all USAA locations with those facilities.
  • Healthy Points: A wellness program designed to inspire employees to Take Care of their Physical, Financial and Emotional health. Employees participate in an array of wellness challenges and actives to improve their overall wellness and earn points to receive up to an additional 5% company subsidy towards their total medical premiums.
  • Health Risk Assessments: USAA provides employees a free annual health screening in the first quarter of every year. The assessment provides a confidential, personalized profile of an employee’s physical and financial health risks. It also includes specific recommendations for improving and sustaining their health.
  • On-Site Health Cinic & Pharmacy: USAA on-site clinics offer a variety of services provided by licensed, registered nurses and support staff. Employees in the San Antonio office can use the on-site pharmacy for convenient prescription pick-up for short-term or long-term medications.
  • On-Site Massage and Physical Therapy: USAA makes available licensed physical and occupational therapists to provide on-site physical therapy to help employees address musculoskeletal aches and some physical rehabilitation.
  • Fitness Centers: USAA offers free on-site fitness centers that offer exercise programs, fitness evaluations, personal training, group classes, and recreation sports. USAA offers a $300 rebate for off-campus employees who join an external fitness center.

Job seekers need to build their professional networks and establish a personal brand. Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
