How to Get Hired

We asked Total Merchant Services for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

When hiring employees, we look for a great personality first and foremost. Culture is a big part of what we do here, we like to have a "Work Hard, Play Hard" type of atmosphere. Honesty, hard working, and diligence are key components to us finding employees who are a great fit!

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

The only thing a prospective employee has to do to gain our attention is to Be Themselves. That is the key component with anything in life. When people try to be someone or something they are not, their light doesn't shine as brightly. As long as they are themselves and have a positive attitude, we take notice.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

At the moment, we are only focused on hiring in our Loss Prevention department and some positions in Finance. We are extremely happy with the team we have now, and want to continue to hone their skills.

What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?

Interested candidates should visit our website; www.tmsjobs.com for more information on openings and what we have to offer.
