We asked Third Bridge for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.
What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
We look for individuals who are self-motivated and have a desire to work in a collaborative environment. Team work is essential at Third Bridge, not just from a business perspective, but a cultural one. Other characteristics that we look for are a desire to learn, adaptable to change, and a passion for tackling new challenges. It is also crucial that new team members share our values of showing respecting, developing others and winning.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
Since the majority of our new joiners are recent college graduates, highlighting your various accomplishments, experiences and interests paints a picture to our recruiters that helps grab our attention. More importantly, it is not just about the name of the school or the company where you interned; we notice someone’s ability to put themselves out there and a desire to grow professionally. It is also helpful if you can consider what we are looking for to determine if you are a good fit for us; being able to demonstrate the competencies we are looking for, as well as a desire to support our culture and values, goes a long way.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
We hire throughout the year for our Research Analyst role and typically these are individuals that have recently graduated or have about one year of work experience. Specifically, we look for people who are resourceful, results-driven, and great communicators. They should also love problem solving, either independently or as part of a team.
What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?
Interested candidates should take a peek at our website to understand what we do as a business and, most importantly, learn about our company culture (but leave some questions for the interview…we love questions).
