  • Growth through Training: At BCG, your development begins as soon as you arrive, with personalized mentorship, on-the-job coaching, and dedicated training sessions. For example, Entry-Level Skills Training (ELST) is an in-person experiential program organized around a well honed case simulation.     What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

    BCG is growing across all practices and all functional areas. We are seeking a variety of backgrounds and experiences, and there is no specific prior expertise required. We look for smart, curious individuals who have the drive, passion and humility to be in client service and who will embrace the BCG culture and thrive within it. Candidates need to have strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to focus on the truth that we believe exists in any business problem. In a summary, we are looking for people with drive and passion to help our clients and BCG succeed.

    What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

    A strong prospective employee will not only offer solutions to the problem at hand during an interview, but will also demonstrate a natural curiosity to explore other related issues and opportunities. Strong candidates are genuine and are able to communicate what makes them unique and how they will contribute to our culture. 

    Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

    This year we plan to expand hiring across job categories, industries, practice areas and geographic locations to support our continued growth.  We look for candidates from a variety of education and industry backgrounds with drive and passion to help our clients succeed.  In addition to new consultants, we have ambitious targets for 2016 across many pieces of our business including expert hiring, Technology Advantage, Business Services Staff, Principals and Project Leaders. BCG Digital Ventures (DV) has created strategic partnerships with the world's leading companies to create disruptive digital platforms. In doing so, DV doubled its size within the US in the last year and expanded rapidly internationally. We're continuing to look for talent at all levels from college graduate to experienced industry executive across all functions. In addition, BCG is looking to hire further talent across all levels into Platinion, BCG's in-house IT consulting and risk management services subsidiary.
