  • Leadership Development Program: The Bonadio Leadership Development Program provides an opportunity for high potential employees to grow and develop in their leadership role. It is a values based program typically provided for varying levels across the firm.
  • Culture Survey: We work with a national expert to take a pulse of where we are in terms of our overall level of engagement on an annual basis. Based on the results we commit to what we are working on for the upcoming year both at the firm-wide and team levels. We commit as a firm to impacting our overall level of engagement year over year.
  • Recognition Program: We have a peer to peer recognition system that allows for staff to recognize those that truly go above and beyond in the work that they do. Employees earn points for submitting, receiving, commenting and liking recognition posts and can trade those points in for gift cards to a variety of different vendors.
  • Client Satisfaction Surveys: We work in collaboration with a national expert on sending out client satisfaction surveys at the conclusion of each client engagement. We strive to always provide the highest level of customer service to the clients we serve. We use the feedback to make enhancements to the services we provide.
  • Bonadio Inspired: In an effort to refine and develop our firms culture, we consistently focus on how we can bring purpose and passion to our daily work. Our Bonadio Purpose is to Provide Opportunity, Strengthen Community and Inspire Growth. We have a Bonadio Inspired Champions Committee made up of employees from varying levels, locations and divisions firm-wide whose goal is to drive cultural initiatives and ways we can bring purpose to what we do every day. This year we will hold our first annual Purpose Day where we will be closing our offices state-wide to conduct service projects at various client sites as a way to give back to our local communities and further live out our purpose driven culture.
  • & More Day: Each year we bring all of our employees and subsidiary employees together for a full day celebration to share successes, highlight team wins for the year, focus on what we have done to serve our communities and build morale and a sense of camaraderie. We have a guest speaker, giveaways and prizes for staff such as ipads, apple watches, TV's, etc.
  • Wellness Program: We provide a firm-wide wellness program that focuses on overall health and well-being. We provide onsite fitness classes, we have an onsite fitness facility, we do wellness competitions, we have a local plant based food service that delivers meals to employees, we partner with The Good Food Collective on bringing fresh local fruits and vegetables to employees, we do multiple local community runs/walks, etc.
  • Bonadio Inspired Awards: Annually, we award employees who live our PROMISE Values everyday - People, Respect, Opportunity, Maintaining Balance, Integrity, Service & More, Entrepreneurship. There is a nomination process and employees firm wide can nominate someone that they feel lives the PROMISE everyday. They submit a nomination that focuses on one or more of the values in our PROMISE and a selection committee choses one person at each level and at each of our locations to win. This year's prizes included either an iPad or 43 inch flat screen TV.
  • Unlimited Paid TIme Off: We have an unlimited paid time off policy that allows employees greater flexibility and work/life balance. Pending supervisor approval, employees can take time off without having to feel restricted by a certain number of days per year.
  • Dress for Your Day: Employees have the opportunity to determine what they wear to the office based on what their schedule is that day. If they are working at their desk and not out working with clients, they can feel free to wear jeans/business casual. When out with clients or at a job site that would require them to wear more professional attire. We want our employees to be comfortable and have flexibility in what they wear to the office and that is the whole idea around dress for your day!

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

CPA certified and/or working towards it, team player, personable, attention to detail,  professional, excellent communication and listening skills, able to interact with all levels of employees, grounded, willing to work to get the job done, driven, well-rounded.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

Apply on line to a job they are qualified for, come recommended by a current employee, have an active CPA license (if applicable), follow-up with an email after an interview, provide a simple and clear-cut resume, come prepared when invited for an interview.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

Senior and Manager level Accountants, Cyber Security.

What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?

Always apply online as the first step.  Be sure to upload both their resume and answer the application screening questions for a complete submission.  And secondly, network.  Get to know people within the industry and more importantly, within the firm.
