Perks and Programs

We asked TD Bank, N.A. to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • TD’s Paid Parental Leave Program: Welcoming a new child is special and challenging — there’s no doubt about it! One of our commitments to our people is to invest in the things that matter to them, like compensation, benefits, extraordinary experiences and more! That’s why we’re proud to offer TD’s Paid Parental Leave program. It provides up to 16 weeks paid leave to all eligible parents — men and women — welcoming a new child into their family. It’s just one way we can support you and your family’s physical, financial and emotional well-being.
  • TD Volunteer Donation Program: We are proud of the generosity of our employees, whose community spirit and engagement positively impact the lives of the people in our communities. When our employees volunteer 40 hours or more of their personal time with one qualified non-profit during a fiscal year, the TD Volunteer Network will notify that employee they are eligible to apply for a $500 donation to that non-profit in their name!
  • Employee Appreciation Week: We recognize our employees for the great work they do and for bringing their whole selves to work. To do this, we host Employee Appreciation Week each June. Teams across the footprint engage in a variety of activities and special events to thank employees for making TD Bank a great place to work. Employee Appreciation Week is all about celebrating our people and taking the time to show our appreciation for everything they do to create legendary experiences for our customers and communities, every day. (Please find more information on this perk in section 6.19)
  • WOW! Rewards: Employees can easily and informally acknowledge a co-worker using WOW! Rewards. Employees log in to the online platform and send their colleagues a personalized, virtual certificate or interactive e-card. Wow! Rewards often grant WOW!za points. WOW!za points are TD's internal currency that employees can use to purchase TD Bank-branded merchandise like beach chairs, luggage, clothing, barbeques, volleyballs and other sporting items. To date, employees have sent more than 365,290 online recognitions during the first year of the newly enhanced platform. The program is also convenient, allowing employees to recognize colleagues anytime, anywhere from their mobile device. (Please find more information on this perk in section 6.19)
  • Global Service Recognition Program: At TD, we believe all service anniversaries are important and should be recognized. For this reason, we’ve designed a program that is simple and easy to understand and recognizes all Employees equally as they achieve their five-year milestones. In each of their first four years with the Bank, Employees receive a congratulatory email on their anniversary thanking them for their service. At five years of service, Employees will receive ten TD shares! Being a shareholder of TD is one of the best ways to share in the long-term success of the Bank, and it’s a great way to thank them for their hard work! (Please find more information on this perk in section 6.19)
  • WOW! Awards: Each year, all employees are invited to attend the annual WOW! Awards. The WOW! Awards celebrate our employees, culture and top performers. Special guests and presenters include senior executives from across the footprint, local leadership from each area of the bank and our President and CEO. At each of these nine regional gatherings, Quarterly WOW! Stars are recognized as nominees for the CEO WOW! Leadership Awards. (Please find more information on this perk in section 6.19)
  • CEO WOW! Leadership Awards: Each year, TD Bank hosts a recognition event to celebrate our 300 CEO WOW! Leadership Award winners. Winners and a guest receive a four-day, three-night trip to a resort destination within TD's U.S. footprint. Winners are celebrated and recognized by our President and CEO and the Senior Leadership Team. (Please find more information on this perk in section 6.19)

Each year, the grant funds initiatives that help create, rehabilitate or maintain safe, affordable housing for thousands of people in local communities.
