Perks and Programs

We asked TCG, Inc to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • New Technology Allowance: If you telecommute, we want to make sure you are able to stay connected with us and can do your job efficiently. TCG will provide you with a new desktop or laptop every 21 months. You may purchase your old machine from TCG after a year, and every 21 months you may either buy your own machine and be reimbursed for up to $500, or have TCG purchase a new machine for up to $600.
  • Commuter Benefits: TCG pays for an Annual Bikeshare Membership (a service of Capital Bikeshare), will reimburse up to $75 for walking shoes twice a year if an employee primarily walks to onsite work, and reimburses up to $200 a year for bike-related expenses for people who use a bicycle as their primary mode of transportation. We also offer pre-tax Mass transit/parking and a Metro SmartBenefits program.
  • TCG Sprees: Once per month, TCG provides groups of employees up to $1,000 to organize outings. These outings can be anything. We’ve had employees organize trips to sporting events (hockey and baseball), play paintball together, go fishing, learn how to scuba dive, and hold cooking classes in their homes. Our only restriction is that the outing be open to all TCG employees, and the group have at least six people involved.
  • Ticket Giveaways: TCG gives away tickets to sporting events and theater year-round. All an employee needs to do is look through a list of available tickets, choose which they want, and then pick the tickets up at the box office on the day of the event.
  • Adoption Assistance: Full-time TCGers who adopt a child (age 18 or under) are eligible for a reimbursement of up to $10,000 per adoption to help cover legal fees, court costs, adoption agency fees, and travel expenses.
  • Bonus.ly: TCG gives Bonus.ly accounts to every TCG employee, and the monthly ration of 100 points can be divided up among coworkers who exemplify our core values and do a great job. Earned points can be cashed in for gift cards, charitable donations, and even paid time off.
  • Backup Child Care: Emergency In-Home Childcare - Provided by White House Nannies, this perk helps on days when a regular childcare is not an option. White House Nannies is paid $35.00 an hour for their caregivers, and TCG covers all but $15 of it. White House Nannies bills TCG directly for up to 40 hours of care each year. TCG pays $20.00 per hour for services employees use; the employee pays the remainder as a deduction from their next paycheck.
  • IncentFit Prizes: Fitness Competitions - All employees are welcome to participate in monthly fitness competitions. HR enrolls the employee in Incentfit, an app that hosts our contests. The employee can then link their fitness tracker to the app and see how their fitness accomplishments measure up to their coworkers’. Prizes are given out monthly to those who win the competitions.
