  • Staffing Slugger: Our Staffing Slugger Program awards the staff with certificates for making placements which they can redeem for prizes such as a hot tub, airplane tickets, and weekend ski trips.
  • Milestone Program: Our Milestone Program rewards employees for reaching milestones, with rewards, perks & development opportunities. Examples include cash bonuses, flex. hours, additional vacation days, certification programs & paid days off for community service.
  • The Stars Program: The Stars Program recognizes & rewards employees that are consistently productive, loyal to our organization, and positive influences on our culture. The stars are afforded perks including participation in the deferred compensation program.
  • Talon Landmark Program: The Talon Landmark Program challenges our Talon team to continue to grow the company and to celebrate once when we achieve significant landmarks. Celebrations include dinners, local trips, weekend and overnight trips, and destination trips.
  • Wellness Program: Within the program, any employee who begins a weight loss program or a smoking cessation program can be reimbursed for the cost of the program. Additionally, if they are able to reach their weight loss goals, or quit smoking for 1 full year, they are paid a bonus.
  • Profit Sharing Program: All production and operations staff are eligible to participate in our profit sharing program. Once certain gross profit and gross profit percentage targets are reached for the year, a portion of additional profit is entered into a profit sharing pool which is split evenly among the staff at year's end.
  • Talon's Career Path Roadmap: Talon’s Career Path Roadmap allows staff members to earn salary increases when they achieve & exceed goals. This program, in conjunction with our "Won on Won" program, gives staff the opportunity to increase their salary 4 times throughout the year.
  • Talon C4 Letter of Distinction: Talon has a program called the C4 Letter of Distinction. Any employee can submit another employee to be recognized. The individual to receive the letter of recognition has to have met criteria that support Talon's principles of Caring, Communicating, Challenging & Celebrating. All letter recipients are entered into a drawing for a prize.
  • Taly Awards: The Talys, implemented in 2015, involves handing out awards for achievements in a fun awards show style format. Among the categories that are recognized are most leads submitted, most client visits, most recruiting calls, and rookie of the year.
  • First Fills Bounty: Talon's First Fills Bounty program gives experienced staff incentive to collaborate with newly hired staff and offer assistance & guidance, which helps the new teammates become successful at a much faster pace.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

We are all about a culture fit here at Talon. Talon prides itself in it's C4, which stands for, Care, Challenge, Communicate, and Celebrate. All of our employees currently embody all of these qualities. We look for people that will compliment our C4 and already stellar team. To break down our C4 even further we look for the following: Care - that our prospective employee will care for their fellow co-workers as if they were family. Challenge -  We want someone that will constantly challenge themselves and motivate others to do the same. Communicate - Communication is key, we want our hires to communicate with one another effectively.  Celebrate - The last quality we look for is someone who will celebrate, not only their own accomplishments but the ones that occur with Talon's walls. If someone demonstrates these qualities we know that they will thrive here at Talon. 

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

At Talon we look to bring in top performers from our industry. Our internal recruiting team is constantly scouting to make connections and develop relationships with professionals within our space. We also welcome prospective employee's reaching out to us via email, website, and LinkedIn. 

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

Absolutely. Talon consistently is looking to bring in Account Executives and Technical Recruiters into our two offices in East Windsor, NJ, and Jersey City, NJ as we have been experiencing very positive growth that allows us to continue to expand our team this upcoming year. Talon also has a thriving internship program that is used to recruit college talent from around the tri-state area with the end goal being to hire them to our full-time staff at the conclusion of their internship and at the time of graduation.
