What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
At Softchoice we are all about diversity and finding new ways to get our work done! A great way to tell if someone will flourish in our culture is by some of the key characteristics they have.
When we are interviewing prospective employees, regardless of the role they are applying for, we are looking for passion. People need to be passionate about what they do - whether it is a passion for sales, technology, operations or HR, this is something that all employees at Softchoice have in common and a large part of our culture.
Another way to tell if someone will be a great fit is if they embody our core values. People that are all about personal development and growth, who take care of one another, are passionate about their customers and clients and who own the end result will no doubt be a great fit for Softchoice.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
In order to get our attention and to stand out, prospective employees can do their research! When interviewing candidates, there is nothing that makes a candidate stand out more than someone who is well prepared for the interview and has done their research on Softchoice.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
As a company that is focused on supporting the business outcomes with our customers through technology enablement, having strong technically skilled people is paramount. Systems Engineers, Solution Architect and Developers are key and we are proud to provide these types of people exciting opportunities and the ability bring great solutions to customers.We are also always focused on hiring amazing talent, however in the next year we have a great focus on hiring dedicated sales professionals for a variety of different roles in the following divisions: our Territory Sales Division, Telesales Division and our Outside Sales Division. Some of the roles that we focused on hiring for include our Territory Sales Representatives, Inside Sales Account Managers and our Outside Sales Representatives. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about a career in sales, passionate about technology and have a high learning agility. We have found that having these key traits ensures success upon coming to Softchoice. We also have amazing onboarding and training that ensure our new sales employees get up to speed on our offerings, the technology industry and our amazing culture at Softchoice.
