Teamwork is the foundation of our employment culture. Although we celebrate the difference that one person can make, we know that success expands with diversity and the synergies that are inherent in teamwork.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
Our company publishes all job openings, and we encourage all interested applicants to apply to positions based on their experience, interest, and qualifications. We accept and review all candidate resumes and applications although some positions require state licenses and designations which may eliminate a candidate from consideration. If a candidate does not have the appropriate qualifications, they will receive a letter explaining we are not moving them forward in the process. In such cases, we encourage applicants to apply to other positions which may be more suitable to their qualifications. Candidates who complete the entire application, submit an updated resume and apply to positions based on experience will likely have a greater chance of obtaining an interview with our organization.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
Our business is to assist families plan for future needs or provide care and guidance for them to deal with an at-need situation. Whether preneed or at-need, our goal is to ensure we provide the best care and guidance, so we seek candidates who have a passion for serving and a desire for ensuring our families are well-informed regardless of their circumstances.
We particularly focus on hiring funeral directors and embalmers, general managers and removal technicians. We need grounds specialists and funeral service assistants. Our needs and services are unique, diverse and they require a commitment to service, so all candidates with a desire to help others are encouraged to apply.

Our company website provides a path to all our open positions, which are categorized by location and specialization. Our website provides investor and community involvement information, the names and locations of our funeral homes, and information about our specific services. The organization provides frequent updates on our press releases so applicants can research real time updates on the company and its locations. Our recruiters publish career fair information on our website and our company linked page offers updates on current positions.
