Perks and Programs

We asked Roth Staffing Companies to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • 9/80 Flex Schedule: The only flex schedule of its kind in the staffing industry. Coworkers can work 9 longer days and get every other Friday off which equals to 26 three-day weekends a year! Work-Life balance is important at Roth Staffing Companies.
  • Roth Pride Points: There are dozens of ways to earn Pride Points at Roth Staffing (and countless ways to be recognized). Redeem your pride points on our fun online portal for a variety of rewards. The Roth Pride Portal houses our rewards store, health challenges, and community service tracking.
  • Top Performers Club: More than 100 people traveled to Hawaii last year with the CEO. Coworkers who are recognized as Top Performers at the end of each year receive an all-expenses paid trip to Maui and can invite a guest with them.
  • Purpose:full: Be part of an organization that makes a difference. Our charity initiative allows coworkers multiple opportunities to get involved in their community. In addition to company-paid volunteer hours, charity drives, and social media awareness campaigns ... our teams receive a "blank check" with their allotted funds to choose how to make an impact in their local community. You're empowered to donate to a charity of your choice that you feel will change lives and make a difference.
  • Gym Membership: We allow coworkers to choose the gym or workout (or health program, or lifestyle app) of their choice and receive a subsidy to pay for your monthly fee.
  • Virtual Coffee with the CEO: Our executive leaders are as accessible as anyone in the organization, in fact, our CEO encourages coworkers to schedule a "virtual coffee" date in which they meet via video phone. The coworker is provided a Starbucks gift card and awarded Roth Pride Points for taking the time to meet and discuss ideas with the CEO.
  • Bring Your Kid To Work Day: One of the most fun events of the year, even for those without children. The company provides a very structured day that allows fun activities for both visiting kids and coworkers. Our clients love receiving calls from our young "coworkers for the day," the scavenger hunt is inspiring for all, and video "interviews" are sent from office to office across the country.
  • Challenge Chats: Not only do we host fun health challenges, but we support all involved coworkers with an internal coach and weekly "challenge chat" calls for motivation. Challenges range from walking, exercise, drinking water, the ever-popular sleep challenge, stretching, the weight loss challenge which has already resulted in more than 150 coworkers losing a collective total of 2,870 pounds, and the newest and most popular Adultitis Challenge to cure too much adulting (includes hopscotch, bike rides outside, coloring books, and Play-Dough creations.
  • Roth U: An internal online university hosts an abundance of training to help coworkers learn the industry and grow personally and professionally. The fun site is easy to navigate and allows the knowledge seeker unlimited access to resources for growth and development. New coworkers receive a customized learning path that includes one-on-one mentoring, small classes, and live webex groups.
  • Roth Random Weeks of Giving: Coworkers are surprised with gifts and giveaways on a regular basis. When you least expect it, a gift arrives at your desk, your home, or online. At Roth, abundant recognition and celebration are part of the everyday culture. In the last year, coworkers won HDTVs, iPads, FitBits, airfare, Spa Gift Cards, and more in random companywide drawings. They also received phone chargers, mugs, reusable tote bags, fun desk supplies, tervis cups, and more.

How to Get Hired

We asked Roth Staffing Companies for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

Culture match, proven track record of sales success, competitive drive, someone that thrives in a fast paced environment, someone whose personal values align with the company's values, fun!, and someone who prefers to work hard and play hard.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

Have knowledge of our organization and be a student of our culture, not just the ability to memorize our philosophy statements, but know the meaning and values behind the words and be a natural champion of it.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

Experienced staffing professionals with a strong direct hire or professional services (legal, accounting and finance or IT) staffing background. We're also focused the year on growing the number of senior level sales directors who excel at developing partnerships with enterprise accounts.  As we continue to grow, our core teams need to have these anchors in place.

What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?

First and foremost, look at our website: www.rothstaffing.com and send an email introducing yourself to recruitment@rothstaffing.com  We can direct you to the right person to help you if an internal role is not ideal. We also encourage people to look on Glassdoor, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and learn more about who we are…
