  • We Celebrate Successes: We like to do fun, memorable things to celebrate milestones.  For example, we launched our beta on the opening night of the new Star Wars movie, and took the whole team to the opening that night (many dressed as their favorite character). Whether we go out to a movie together, or grab a baseball game, or just do an impromptu happy hour, we believe that our success comes in all of us being connected.
  • Unlimited Vacation Policy: We encourage our team to take time to recharge, and have an unlimited vacation policy (subject to supervisor approval of course).  When people don’t take time off, they are encouraged to do so, and teammates cover for them.  We are all better and more productive team members when we have balance in our lives.
  • Kitchen Confidential: Our kitchen is well-stocked, and we enjoy breaking bread together.
  • Hidden Room with a View: At our old Headquarters, we had a hidden “Speakeasy” behind the bookshelf in our main conference room.  It was a fantastic place for small meetings or an occasional end of day Old Fashioned, and was fun to watch peoples’ expressions when the bookcase opens during a meeting with outside guests.  We loved it so much that we built a bigger one when we moved into our new HQ!
  • Music Calms the Savage Beast: Our office has an awesome Sonos system, and the music is controlled organically by anyone and everyone in the office.  We like to guess who is playing what, and while some Roofsters have a telltale musical thumbprint, others keep us guessing!
