  • Formal Mentoring Program: Roche Diagnostics' mentoring program, sponsored by our Women's Leadership Initiative, is a broad-based, year-long program that matches an employee with an experienced professional based on interests and goals. The WLI mentoring program has proven so successful that we are currently planning for expansion in 2017, targeting other minority employee resource groups as we broaden our overall inclusion efforts.
  • Annual Bonus and Performance Sharing: Regardless of their position in the company, every single Roche employee is financially rewarded for their contributions to the organization. Our Performance Sharing Plan allows employees ranging from entry level to professional level to benefit financially from the success of our company. The objective of this plan is to reward each employee for their contribution when the company achieves profitability objectives that position the business for sustained long-term growth. The Roche Annual Bonus plan, offered to leaders and certain professional-level individual contributors, measures both individual and business contributions. Employee targets range from 20% to 50% of their base salary.
  • Business Resource Groups: As we continue on our path of cultivating a more inclusive culture and leveraging diversity and inclusion (D&I) as a competitive advantage to drive business results, Roche Diagnostics launched six new Business Resource Groups (BRG) in 2016. BRG groups will provide business value through advancing our D&I goals, with a focus on recruiting, retaining and developing diverse talent, community outreach, and serving as business resources to drive initiatives. Current planned BRGs include Young Professionals/Millennial, LGBTQA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Allies), Veteran, African American, Latino/Hispanic, and Asian.
  • Camp Roche: Through a partnership with the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis, children of Roche Diagnostics employees (affectionately known as “Rochelings”) ages 5 through 12 are invited to attend Camp Roche during the summer. It may just be our most unique—and most beloved—offering. Each day, campers meet at our Employee Forum for a free hot breakfast before heading out to our 45-acre on-campus park to participate in a variety of camp activities, including: archery, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, soccer, sing-alongs, arts and crafts, nature exploration, and sports.
