We asked Real Wood Floors for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.
What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
We generally look for people who are humble, hungry and smart individuals that look like they will align with both our missional values and our core values. We also utilize the Meyers Briggs assessment as a tool to help us quickly understand a person's wiring and how they would fit into the proposed position.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
We love to ask prospective employees what their own personal goals are for life. In fact we often ask people what do you want to do with your life and how would you like to be compensated to do it. It's a great question that helps them see we are as interested in their personal growth and success as we are in how they will help our company grow.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
Marketing team members, warehousing and logisitics, sales.
What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?
We post a lot of our job postings on our social media accounts as well as at our local university. We routinely participate in business classes at the local school and recruit there. Additionally we travel to student conferences and reach out to potential candidates there.
