  • Give Your Brand a Hand: Once a month, Quality Logo Products gives away $500 in promotional products to a small business owner. Whether the winning business owners use their branded items as customer gifts or as promotional merchandise to resell, we provide them with custom advertising materials to use at no cost to them. It's QLP's way of honoring its small business roots and giving back to other entrepreneurs who are getting established.
  • Bubba Rewards: The Bubba Rewards program at Quality Logo Products provides employees with an additional day of paid time off for every year they’re employed at QLP, up to seven additional days. Additionally, each employee receives a guaranteed $1,000 bonus after three years and a $2,500 allowance for a vacation after five years (plus an additional 5 days of PTO).
  • Earned Time Off: Employees at Quality Logo Products can earn additional time off each year beyond their regularly allotted paid time off. Earned time off is awarded for consistent high performance or special achievements and is awarded at management’s discretion whenever it’s merited, without the need to go through a lengthy approval process.
  • Flex Time: QLP allows its non-sales employees to work a flexible schedule. As long as each employee works the required number of hours each week and informs his or her manager, that employee can work as few or as many hours each day as needed (up to 10 hours/day). Employees can start their workdays early or late, to make scheduling doctors’ appointment and similar errands less stressful.
  • Casual Attire: Casual attire is encouraged each day of the week, not just on Fridays, because why should employees be comfortable only one day out of every five? Additionally, because apparel is among the items it sells, Quality Logo Products often provides its employees with branded casual wear for the office, including t-shirts and hoodies.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

Creativity and flexibility are traits that will help a person succeed in almost any role at QLP. As part of a small, online-only company, our employees often have to wear several hats and approach the tasks ahead of them from different angles. We’re constantly trying to improve the ways our website serves our customers, so we always look for curious people with an ability to work independently and come up with their own great ideas. We also look for an ability to relate to the customer in everyone from our sales representatives to our web developers, so that every facet of QLP works together with customer service in mind.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

Because QLP is an online-only company, we value prospective employees who can show us that they’re comfortable navigating digital channels. Interacting with us on any of our social media sites, especially for someone seeking a job in Content or Media, is a good way to demonstrate the customer-focused personality we’re looking for. A strong online portfolio is a great idea for anyone interested in working on our social media or website content. And for any position, we’d be impressed by a candidate who has some knowledge of or has done some research on the promotional products industry, since it’s a niche industry unlike any other.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

As our customer service department continues to grow, we look forward to hiring additional team members to handle our expanded hours of business. We also want to hire a designer to specialize in e-mail marketing, since our customer e-mails have proven to be an excellent source of business.
