Perks and Programs

We asked PPR Talent Management Group to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Unlimited PTO: PPR offers an unlimited PTO program for employees to be used anytime for any reason.
  • Wellness Program: PPR has a large on-site gym available for the employees to workout any time throughout the day. It is also available on weekends. On-site yoga classes and personal certified trainers are offered three times a week; with kickboxing classes scheduled three days a week in case that is more your style. Additionally, employees may choose to workout at two local gyms, where personal trainers are provided via the PPR relationship. On the nutritional side of PPR's wellness program, fresh, organic fruit is delivered every Monday. The seasonal variety offers employees a delicious and exciting way to stay healthy.
  • Profit Sharing: PPR's Monthly Bonus Program and Annual Bonus Program are company-wide success bonuses awarded to all full-time, regular employees when profitability goals are attained. This year, the monthly bonuses are averaging $210.
  • Maternity and Paternity Leave: PPR's maternity leave covers 100% of the employee's salary for eight weeks. Paternity leave is granted for new fathers. Our Adoption leave policy mirrors the maternity leave.
  • Salary Continuation: PPR fully funds a salary continuation plan that entitles associates to 80% of salary up to four weeks for personal sickness, disability, injury, or medical leave. This plan satisfies the waiting period required by our disability plan.
  • FREE coffee, sodas and snacks: In conjunction with standard free coffee onsite, PPR stocks a soda cooler full of more than 20 varieties of soda, flavored waters, and V8 juice. Our employees find this to be a highly welcomed treat on a daily basis.
  • On-site massages: Employees often use their break time/lunch break to grab a quick massage from the onsite massage therapist who visits monthly.
  • VIP Event tickets: PPR maintains relationships and memberships that provide us VIP and Pre-sale privileges for large events in the area. PPR also has Club Seat season tickets for the local NFL football team. These tickets are regularly shared among the staff and/or given away as rewards to employees for their service or performance.
  • FREE gym memberships: We have two office locations. One with an onsite gym where employees can workout for free at any time of the day. When we opened our second location, it had no gym. We immediately decided to cover the membership for those employees to join the best local gym in town which happens to be located right down the street. They love it!
  • Life Insurance for FREE: PPR provides $25,000 life insurance and $25,000 AD&D for employees at no cost.

    How to Get Hired

We asked PPR Talent Management Group for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

Recruiting the best and brightest people comes before everything else at PPR. Once we’ve got the right people as part of our team, we can teach them to be the best and brightest at their jobs. While our list of “must-have” candidate characteristics is long, it’s non-negotiable -- for a reason. Candidates must: Be positive; Be optimistic; Work well within a team; Have a great desire to succeed; Have a contagious and “can-do” attitude; Have strong interpersonal skills; Set goals; Be open-minded; Be competitive; Have an outgoing personality; Demonstrate an internal locus of control; Be ethical; Be flexible; Work hard; Give back to the community.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

At PPR we look for people with positive attitudes, willingness to learn, adaptability, teamwork, resourcefulness, and personal accountability. This is an essential part of playing well with others -- both in and outside the workplace. Working hard is important, and so is the ability to play hard, laugh, and have fun. Our culture is all about balance, and the individuals who best fit our culture understand the importance of work-life balance. Last -- but in no way least -- comes giving back. Not only is it important to make a contribution to your community, it’s also a significant step in achieving equilibrium in your life. We find that all of these traits add up to the embodiment of our Core Values: Excellence, Trust, Service, Teamwork and Change.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

PPR has experienced significant growth throughout the past couple of years, therefore we anticipate the need for additional employees with exceptional sales and recruitment skills moving forward. In addition to new recruitment openings, we will also need staff in quality management, accounting and finance, and sales support. Regardless of the position, culture fit remains a paramount factor when filling every open role at PPR.

What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?

We are delighted whenever word of mouth leads new candidates to the PPR team. Individuals who are interested in joining PPR can visit our website at Open positions are listed under the “Opportunities” section along with additional information, including the job description, essential functions, qualifications and work environment. Applications can be completed on-line. Interested candidates should also “Like” our Facebook page and connect with us on LinkedIn. We can’t wait to meet you!
