What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
Prospective employees can differentiate themselves with a good understanding of PolyOne’s business. Being a B2B organization, you won't find PolyOne-branded products on the shelf of your local store, but you will find that our materials and innovative solutions are in many of the things you use every day! We also look for candidates who have unique experiences such as being fluent in multiple languages or have global or military experience. Most importantly, we want to see candidates who demonstrate high levels of engagement and interpersonal interaction so we appreciate candidates asking several cultural and forward-looking questions to make sure that PolyOne would be a good fit for their goals and motivations.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
We are always looking for candidates who want to build a career and make an impact. These talented individuals will have the ambition and ability to move outside of their technical or educational expertise or even to a new business or region. Bringing in individuals who have potential to grow into other roles will continue to strengthen our strong promote from within culture. More opportunities will be available for those with geographic mobility. From a functional standpoint, we are continuing to build our commercially-facing capability through focused hiring in sales, marketing and technology. This focus will allow us to grow our innovation platform and better partner with our customers.
