How to Get Hired
We asked Plenary Group USA Ltd. for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.
What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
Prospective employees that are generally a great fit with Plenary are intelligent, passionate, results-driven and amiable, and combine a strong work ethic, resiliency and grit to thrive under stress and in a collaborative work environment. They seek outsized responsibility, have fun together, share successes, and appreciate Plenary as a nimble, flexible company always looking to innovate.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
Prospective employees are welcome to engage directly with Plenary personnel, and specifically with someone in the position that they are interested in, or connect with Human Resources or someone on the Plenary management team. We are always interested in meeting new talent and demonstrated initiative can help as we get to know the candidate, outside of their resume, while also enabling the candidate to receive candid feedback on what a day at Plenary looks like.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
Hiring at Plenary varies based on our project needs. Generally, we are always looking to meet with candidates who bring relevant experience with financial modeling and private finance, particularly related to P3 transactions. We also have creative roles available within our proposal design team and project management roles within our buildings and civil groups. We recommend regularly visiting our Plenary LinkedIn page, and Careers page on our website for a recent listing of available opportunities.
What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?
Candidates who are keen on learning more about Plenary should do their due diligence by visiting our website and learning more about our portfolio of projects and our industry. We also recommend that interested candidates reach out to individuals in the P3 industry, including Plenary employees, whether by LinkedIn, attending a conference or other channels. This will enable candidates to understand what a day at Plenary is like and where their qualifications may fit. Completing preliminary research and adding the personal touch by connecting with people on the Plenary team or in the industry will go a long way in understanding if our industry and team is the right fit for the interested individual.
