  • GOLD Standard Award: OTO recognizes employees on a quarterly basis for going above and beyond expectations with a cash award of $100. In addition,, employees are recognized annually with a cash reward of $500.
  • Manager in Development: OTO targets college hospitality graduates as a fast track into Assistant General Manager role with a 9 month learning path/rotation under the direction of the General Manager.
  • AHLA Apprentice Program: Partnership with AHLA/DOL for incumbents that are identified as high potential for leadership positions. This is a program where a front desk associate or staff level associate would complete an apprenticeship program through online courses as well as on the job training with the General Manager. Once the associate completes the program, he/she will receive certificate from AHLA and will be moved into a management type position.
  • Keys to Fulfillment - Associate: The Debt-Free Online Associate’s Degree Program is a no-out-of-pocket cost degree program funded by OTO Development for our Associates. This is an undergraduate academic online degree program offered at a regionally accredited college. No out-of-pocket funding will be required from Associates who follow the program guidelines and school requirements
  • Keys to Fulfillment - Bachelors: OTO Development has partnered with Pearson to bring our associates a network of preferred partner academic institutions and educational support services to help them meet their degree goals, including: Low Cost Bachelor’s Degree
  • Anniversary Recognition: Associates are recognized for their dedicated service for 5, 10, 15yrs, etc. For those with 10 or more years of services, OTO's CEO/COO calls the associate to express their appreciation for their years of service. The associate also receives a card signed by the OTO executive team and a gift card of $150.
  • Associate Recognition: Each hotel has dedicated funds to celebrate birthday and anniversary celebrations, local gifts and incentives.
  • Tailgate Team Building: OTO's corporate office participates in an annual tailgate event. Teams are created randomly throughout the corporate office and each team has to create/design their own unique tailgate with food, decorations, etc. This is a fun team building event. which allows for different departmenes to collaborate.
  • Community Involvement: Both within our hotels and corporate office reach out to local communities and provide financial support and volunteer services through a wide variety of agencies and organizations. An example from our OTO corporate office with other partners, the OTO team collected, unloaded, sorted, bagged, and staged over 11,000 pounds of food for distribution in a single day. More than 300 families received help at the Total Ministries Food Pantry.
  • Housekeeping Appreciation Week: OTO sets aside a week annually to recognize housekeeping associates for their contribution to the business. This includes games, cook outs, massages, gifts, etc.
