Perks and Programs

We asked Optomi to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Care Package Program: Optomi leverages its success to alleviate child hunger which affects one in five children in the U.S. today. Many children right here in the U.S. don’t know if there will be food in the fridge when they get home from school, so we created a program to address this hunger epidemic. With each consultant hired, Optomi (in partnership with a confection company) provides a food-insecure child with a weekend bag of meals. By working with local Food Banks from LA to DC, this program helps us directly impact the communities in which we do business. Our gift packages of unique confections include a custom recipe signature Optomi cookie.
  • Wellness Program: Because we like to reward high performance, Optomi provides wellness incentives based upon goal achievement. Benefits include: additional vacation time, money to be used toward gym memberships or the like, title change & Optomi company merchandise.
  • Opt2give Day: We impact our local communities by allowing employees to spend a workday each year serving those in need during our Opt2Give Day. It’s an impactful way we give back. We also encourage each of our 8 markets to schedule a serving event each quarter.
  • Phantom Stock: We reward our top performers with an opportunity to share the wealth of the company. Based upon goal achievement, they receive Phantom Stock shares.
  • Patinum Club: As our employees reach new levels of achievement within our “Three Spheres of Performance”, we take time to celebrate, recognize and reward that success. Every year, our top associates are awarded an Optomi sponsored trip called PLATINUM CLUB where we honor their accomplishments. We also recognize one individual each year with the “Ring of Honor” award allowing them to attend Platinum Club based upon their outstanding exhibition of our core values. In addition ,the co-founders award a “Rookie of the Year” for a special individual who is young in tenure but strong in performance.
  • Employee of the Quarter: Four times a year, we honor an employee and consultant with an opportunity to give $250 to the charity of their choice. We also plan quarterly community service activities in each of our branches.
  • Optomi Hears a Who: We believe that we will grow strongest when we employ people of similar work ethics, drive and passion, so we ask our employees to refer others to us. We award them generously for every referral and promote contests with the prize of tech merchandise like iPads.
  • Cell and Car Allowance: We offer generous monthly cell phone allowances and car allowances.
  • Opt2Chat: The co-founders believe in building a culture that genuinely appreciates the strength of its team members. They schedule time with nominated employees to mentor, advise and encourage them.
