Our Team

Perks and Programs

We asked OneLogin to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Unlimited Vacation & Sick Policy: Our vacation policy ensures everyone gets the relaxation they need to give their best. There are no restrictions on the number of sick days or vacation days a person takes in a year. We do this to recognize the hard work and contributions our employees make and the challenges that come with working in a fast-paced, technology sector. We simply request that the employee submits a request to his/her manager for approval. There is no formal time tracking system and no administrative work for the employee or the manager.
  • Free & Healthy Food: We provide free catered lunches every day at no cost to employees through a lunch delivery service which allows you to order from any restaurant. This same program can be used to order other meals (breakfast and dinner) for home as well, at a substantial discount. This helps busy employees when they have no time to cook, but need a healthy meal.  Employees also find our kitchens fully stocked with healthy, organic foods and drinks. We even have iced coffee and beer on tap at the San Francisco HQ.
  • Referral Program: OneLogin has a very generous referral program. Each employee who refers a potential candidate earns a $50 gift card as a token of immediate appreciation. Additionally, employees who refer a successful candidate may earn a bonus payment, which ranges from $5,000 - $10,000 depending upon the specific role. We want a company where you can actually work with your friends and do great things together.
  • CEO Award: Outstanding employees are honored and highlighted annually. These awards are presented by our CEO at our annual holiday event. Each award recipient receives an all expenses paid trip of their choice, anywhere in the world, at any time.
  • Learning & Development: OneLogin sets aside lunch time every Thursday for employees to learn from their peers. Whether we focus on something specific about our product or learn how to interview effectively, we spend time investing in each other and teaching our respective skills to our colleagues.
  • Good Health: We’re all about mental, physical and emotional well-being for our employees and our policies reflect that. We believe that our employees should always maintain a healthy work-life balance. OneLogin covers 100% of an employee's healthcare premium and 75% of his or her dependents' premiums. Our plans cover a variety of alternative medicines and treatments.  The program includes all costs related to medical, dental, vision, long-term life insurance and disability costs. Additionally, the company provides its employees with a 401(k) program so that they can plan for their financial future.
  • Equity in OneLogin: At the time of hire, all full-time employees are given an equity stake in OneLogin through our employee stock option plan. We hire individuals who want to make a difference and care about working together to create a long-term, financially successful company. We believe that providing each employee with an ownership stake in the company will allow them to take pride in building a great company.
  • Employee Engagement Programs: We host monthly town halls where our CEO and other members of the executive staff communicate the state of our business. We solicit questions from employees in advance of the meetings and devote additional time at the end for live Q & A. We also take the time to recognize employee work anniversaries, outstanding contributions and key business metrics. We also solicit employee opinions every quarter though what we call a Pulse Survey. The Pulse Survey is a great vehicle that facilitates a transparent workplace where employees can be heard. The Pulse Survey is also a vehicle that allows employees to offer input into matters of importance for our company.
  • Team Budgets: While we take pride in our work, and our customers around the world, we know how to get out of the office and have fun. Each department has a budget allocation for team building events, educational events and generally any activity which increases team connectivity. Some employees want to bond outside of work in more social environments, while other employees want to increase their professional education, and learn together. Each team has a budget to allow for these types of customized programs.  We encourage our employees to continually invest in their professional development, individually and within their own teams;  these particular budgets also allow employees to customize their personal preferences.
  • Office Environment: We try to choose office locations that are close to public transportation hubs to make coming into the office quick, easy and convenient. We also offer pre-tax commuter programs to encourage our employees to ride public transportation to decrease our carbon footprint. We work with ergonomic specialists and office architectural experts to maximize employee comfort in our office spaces to create an environment that can provide different settings for employees to do great work.

How to Get Hired

We asked OneLogin for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

During the interview process, we look for characteristics in candidates that align with our cultural values: Integrity, Innovation, Excellence, Urgency, Customers for Life, and who want to build a Great Place to Work.  Additionally, we look for employees who are: self-aware, self-disciplined and self-improving. The point is that we look for candidates who take initiative rather than being told what to do.  Finally, we're working with a data analytics company to map out the key personality or character traits to build a success profile for each role.  We then test our potential candidates against this success profile to understand if they already score consistently with the existing DNA of the people already doing well in that role.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

We like to see prospective employees who are prepared and have done their homework.  For example, what do you already know about OneLogin? Have you visited our website (www.onelogin.com), read various articles about us, read our blog, checked our Twitter account, looked at our profile on LinkedIn and Facebook, and looked at our competitors. Don’t forget to check out the profiles of the people who will be interviewing you. If you’ve done all this, you’ll be well prepared.  We also love to see creativity in prospective employees as we believe that can translate into the work environment. We like to characterize the OneLogin employee profile as “down to earth.” That is, people who are honest, straightforward, have integrity. People who are team players. Finally, make sure you network. Last year, 40% of our new employees were referred by current employees. So get social!

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

We are constantly on the hunt for world-class employees and innovative people. Check us out at OneLogin Careers.  This cuts across all work disciplines: engineering, customer success, marketing, people ops, product, sales and business development.  We are constantly searching for employees who can help us solve sophisticated technology challenges.  If you enjoy solving complicated puzzles and have a knack for explaining highly technical issues in a language which others can understand, please reach out.  We always seek leaders in their respective fields.

What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?

Check out our www.onelogin/careers page or find us on LinkedIn or Facebook and apply online!  We have a very easy and transparent interview process and we genuinely want to find a role that is right for you at this point in your life.
