We focus on hiring individuals that are excited to learn, highly motivated, solution-oriented, embrace change, are always looking for ways to improve current job functions and duties, and are overall go-getters. Experience in communications and tech is always a plus, but we hire more for attitude, drive, and personality than previous experience.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
Candidates definitely stand out when they show an active interest in Nextiva, what we do, and the position they are applying for. Referencing experience to specific skills and responsibilities of the position shows they’ve done their research. Also, discussing ways they can contribute to the overall mission of the company during their interview will grab the team’s attention.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
We are focusing on hiring team members for our various sales departments including Inside Sales, Channel Sales, and Enterprise Sales. We are also expanding our Operations Department and are looking for talented individuals to join our Technical Support, Onboarding, and Account Management teams. Lastly, product development is a huge focus for Nextiva and we plan to grow our team of Software Engineers, Quality Assurance Analysts, and System Engineers. We are focused on finding candidates that are adaptable, coachable, passionate about their work, and who want to grow their careers at Nextiva.
