Those that are dedicated to providing Amazing Service to their colleagues and customers, who are self-starters open to collaboration, and who are inherently nimble. Success comes easily to those who identify as life-long learners, that are up-to-date with the latest technologies, and who have strong business acumen. How we identify these core strengths in candidates is through our initial application and interview process. We ask questions throughout our application and interviews that focus on what the candidate has learned about Nextiva so far. As well as behavioral questions during their face-to-face interview that give us a better sense of how they respond to certain professional situations.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
When a candidate shows an active interest in Nextiva, what we do, and the position they are applying for, that always stands out. Referencing experience to specific skills and responsibilities of the position shows they’ve done their research. Also, not only discussing past experience but discussing ways they can contribute to the overall mission of the company during their interview will grab the team’s attention.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
We are currently focused on hiring team members for our sales departments including Inside Sales, Channel Sales, Mid-market, and Enterprise Sales. We are also expanding our operations department and are looking for talented individuals to join our Technical Support, Implementation, and Account Management teams. Lastly, product development is a huge focus for Nextiva this year and we plan to continue our growth within our team of Software Engineers, Quality Assurance Analysts, and System Engineers. We are focused on finding candidates that are adaptable and coachable individuals who are passionate about their work at Nextiva.
