Perks and Programs

We asked Next College Student Athlete to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Give Back: We are built on a philosophy of Give Back at NCSA. We live this out in three very meaningful ways: 1) We provide a paid day off per team member each year to volunteer and give back to the community.  While NCSA identifies and offers various volunteer opportunities, team members can also choose to volunteer for any cause/organization about which they are passionate.  2) As a company, we provide Athleadership Grants that allow deserving student-athletes to access all the services we provide for free.  Each team member can also award an Atheadership Grant each year.  3) We partner with the Sports Shed to help provide sports equipment and safe locations in urban and other locations where the need is very great.
  • Wellness Credit Reimbursement: Each team member is allotted a monthly bank of $65 to use towards any healthy lifestyle event or product such as gym membership; city-wide bike sharing program; entry fees to marathons; healthy eating programs like Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, etc.; massages; specialty workout classes such as spinning, yoga, Pilates, kick boxing; etc.
  • Simply Engaged Wellness Program: We’ve partnered with United Healthcare (UHC), our healthcare provider, on their wellness program.  Simply Engaged is a wellness program in which employees who are UHC participants can earn up to $250 in gift cards by participating in a series of well-being activities, such as completing a health questionnaire, bio-metric screenings, going to the gym monthly, and speaking with a health coach. The Simply Engaged program is offered to the spouses of our participating team members as well.
  • Employee Referral Program: We are constantly striving to bring in top talent, and in an effort to find the best of the best, all employees are eligible to participate in our Referral Program. Team members can earn up to $2500 per referral, and that includes a $500 initial referral bonus!
  • Commuter Parking Reimbursement: NCSA reimburses team members for their monthly parking expenses (up to 100% paid).  The percentage that is covered is based on tenure with the company.
  • Laptop/iPad Reimbursement: All full-time team members are eligible to receive a reimbursement up to $350 for the purchase of a laptop, iPad, or tablet of their liking.
  • In-house Catered Lunch: A daily rotation of pop-up restaurants come into the office and offer a variety of lunch options for purchase.
  • Other Food Perks: NCSA provides free bagels every Friday morning and free lunch on the third Thursday of each month.  There’s a massive snack cabinet (filled with healthy snacks, junk food, and everything in between) that is always stocked and available for team members.
  • Team Events: We work extremely hard, but we also like to have our fun!  We host several annual events (Turkey Bowl, summer softball/kickball tournament, holiday party) as well as ongoing events (rookie/summer happy hours, sports leagues, etc.).
