      What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

      At NEOGOV we look for distinct characteristics to ensure that a candidate will be a great fit. First, we look for a candidate's desire to learn. NEOGOV employees are continually obtaining new skills, allowing them to grow and make contributions to their teams. Second, we look for a candidate’s ability to adapt. Our flat company structure encourages collaboration across teams so it's important that we see a candidate’s ability to adjust to working with a variety of teams. Last, we seek candidates that are innovative and impactful. Most NEOGOV employees take on responsibilities outside of their primary role to come up with solutions for other teams.  

      What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

      We look for employees who can make an impact, whether it is with innovative new enhancements to our products, new ways to run operations, or new sales tactics. For example, we look for people who have been responsible for projects that have shown innovation, leadership, and teamwork. When hiring recent graduates, we look for involvement in leadership positions or activities that prove they are a team player. 

      Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

      NEOGOV is expanding our research and development (R&D) team as well as our sales team. Our R&D team consists of individuals of various backgrounds with diverse experience. Their innovation is what drives NEOGOV’s success. Our sales team is also expanding. We are creating new positions within this department to continue our fast growth.
