What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
While our team members vary, each bringing their own unique qualities to the National team, there are a few key characteristics that everyone shares. When interviewing potential candidates we look for those that have a passion for providing superior customer service, have a positive and pleasant attitude, are resilient, and enjoy being part of a team. We seek employees who will provide the very best care and customer service to our clients, guests, and each other.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
Prospective employees will get our attention by their history of and/or passion for providing the best in customer service. While we seek experience, we understand some will not come to National with a background in corporate housing or hospitality. What stands out in a sea of resumes is customer service experience and real life situations that were handled and resolved with the customer being the number one focus. We also look for employees that have had a pattern of success in their careers and who can bring fresh ideas to the table, to continue moving National forward.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
In the coming year we are focused on growing our technology and operations teams to include developers, customer service, account management, and corporate support positions. Last year we focused on growing our sales teams and we had incredible growth! In order to keep up with that growth and service the business we have the need to expand our internal tech teams and our operations teams. We are looking to fill positions in all 28 of our locations, including the UK.
