Perks and Programs

We asked Mondo to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Fuel Benefits: A company-wide initiative that allows employees a personal monthly spend on anything they want that benefits their health or well-being. Some people spend it on the gym, some on classes for professional development. We have "Team FUEL" too, which gives managers autonomy to reward their team and boost culture with a happy hour or relaxing spa day. The Fuel program actively encourages our employees to keep themselves healthy, physically and mentally.
  • Unlimited PTO: "Our team works hard, because they know that when they need to, they can take a break. With open comunication about personal and company goals, everyone knows they can take the time they need away from the office. We also take off the entire holiday week off. The holidays are time for family, not work. Why stress about business when it's time to be with loved ones? Offices are closed between Dec 23rd and Jan 2. "
  • Paid Sabbatical: Experiences broaden perspective, so after 4 years of service, we offer $3,000 toward a 2-week paid vacation.
  • Maternity and Paternity Leave: In a corporate world, 2 full months of paid leave for mothers is rare. What is rarer is the same 2 month policy extends to Mondo's new daddies as well. The team at Mondo appreciates not only the generous policy, but the way Mondo leads by example in the corporate world.
  • Mondo Gives Back: Our bi-annual philanthropy program has every office come together to find a local charity Mondo can partner with to provide time and money. With 10 offices, Mondo helps out 20 charities a year, and we actively encourage our employees to maintain contact with those charities and give back to the community
  • Interactive, award-winning Intranet: Not your average intranet. Mondo's features a bulletin board for up-to-date company news, helpful tips and guides from HR and team leaders, and a company-wide directory so our spread out workforce can learn a little bit about everyone on the team, all through an award-winning design. An intranet that people atually use. Imagine that.
  • Uncapped Commission: Yep. There is no limit to how much our team can earn working for us. As long as they're driving new business in the door, they'll be compensated for it. Sales people are in it to win, so we want them to keep on winning.
  • Cell Phone Reimbursement: Very popular. If you work for Mondo, we cover your cell phone bill. Our team is on the go, and we know they want to stay connected.
  • President’s Club: To celebrate the team's hard work, we treat them to an annual, all-expenses paid vacation to a tropical destination. The team works hard, so we want them to unwind together and have a blast soaking up some sun on us!
  • Half-Day Fridays: Nothing says TGIF like year-round half-day Fridays. When our team produce results they deserve to start their weekends early, year-round.

How to Get Hired

We asked Mondo for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

Mondo uses the MAP framework: Mentality. Accountability. Process. When we talk to prospective employees, we look for signs that they live their lives, professional and personal, by MAP. Are they keyed in and focused with a postitive "I will win" mentality? Have they demonstrated accountability, and really understand what it means to be self-reflective and a thirst for growth? Do they instinctively appreciate the value of learning from the people around them, adopting our process, yet, "not recreate wheel but refine the wheel" -- This is a really hard industry, you get more no's then yes's from prospects the first 6 months to a year, but you have to keep going and be strong enough to believe in yourself and those around you to perservier and find amazing success at the light at the end of the tunnel.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

Want to stand out from the crowd? Demonstrate committment and tenacity, however you can. We are not as interested in your resume as we are in your ability to prove to us that if we bring you aboard, that you'll be a team player and understand the responsability you have to be a strong pergformer to keep your team rising. that doesn't quit and works hard to get their name in the conversation. Being able to do while maintaining a professional, respectful demeanor? Mondo will want to talk to you. We look for people who have demonstrated leadership experience. Whether that's on a sports team in college for new grads or rising through the ranks at thier company for managers, we want to know if you've taken on the responsibility of being a leader.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

We are growing in a number of key markets nationwide, so our focus for 2017 will be heavily focused on building out our sales and recruiting teams. Seasoned staffing vets, those totally new to the industry, and those just out of college, we're on the hunt for team members that want to build something great with us!

What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?
