Department Outing

Perks and Programs

We asked Modernize to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Bring your dog to work: Modernize allows one dog for each floor (3 floors) per day. We have a calendar for people to sign up their dog and what floor they will be on. We get to see all the adorable pups in meetings and at their desk.
  • Extensive resource library: NWe value growth and development and offer various channels to professionally grow people.
  • Online video training opportunities: We have online learning resources for all of our employees to use at their disposable for continuous learning in their position as well as our industry.
  • Department Outings: Every each department goes on two outings, one just by themselves and the second with a department they normally do not communicate with. This promotes cross-communication as well as team building. The first outing we try to focus on volunteering, this year, each department will devote their time to Habitat for Humanity and help build a house. We believe this falls right within our industry as well as giving back to our community. The second outing is up to the two departments to vote on. It ranges from beer tours to ax throwing.
  • Unlimited PTO: Our company offers unlimited PTO that is non-accrued, making it easier for our employees to have a work-life balance.
  • Tuesday/Thursday lunch: Modernize provides lunch twice a week to all employees to give them a chance to mingle with all of their co-workers in office while being fed delicious food.
