What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
We seek individuals with a passion for people who want to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment. Our Squad members should have perseverance and passion for setting and achieving goals. MOD celebrates the diversity of our employees, choosing to focus on personality and drive rather than putting unnecessary emphasis on prior food service experience. Our interview process focuses on values based questions to gauge potential employee's grit, generosity and gratitude for life's journey. To become a part of the MOD Squad, we seek individuals who can provide specific examples of their personal and professional growth, acceptance of others, the ability to make connections with their co-workers, a passion for developing others, and who show humility with confidence during the interview process. We are not focused on hiring for pizza making abilities - what we look for is passion and potential!

For new stores, interested individuals are invited to participate in the store's Job Fair, which is held three weeks prior to the store opening. Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
We are on track to open an additional 50 stores before the end of 2017 – and plan to continue an aggressive growth plan into 2018, which will include hiring approximately 25 MOD Squad members for each new location. As we develop geographic markets, we will be hiring District and Market Managers to oversee specific regions across the U.S. In addition, our Support Center, located in Bellevue, WA will continue to build out our support teams – construction, accounting, HR, real estate, IT, marketing and operations.
