We asked MOBI Wireless Management to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Power Week: Annual Employee Appreciation Week centering around our CORE values. A full week of surprises, fun, and appreciation.
  • MOBI Connect: MOBI Connect are groups of MOBI employees who get together to share in common interests. Some of these groups include; Yoga, Basketball, Movies, Cooking, Gaming, and Book Club. Currently we have over 20 MOBI Connect groups that employees are able to participate in.
  • Power Academy: Power Academy is a self-guided development program. It is comprised of a set of courses offered by MOBI subject matter experts. All employees are eligible to participate in Power Academy. Many classes are geared toward specific MOBI functions and professional development, however that's not all - we do offer courses for personal development as well.
  • Power Up Cards: Power Up Cards give employees a chance to acknowledge and recognize their peers for a job well done. These recognitions are hung on the wall all month long, for all to see, then at the end of each month those employees receive their Power Up Cards, delivered by the employee who identified the individual for being awesome. In addition they have a chance at "spinning the wheel" and winning prizes for going above and beyond in their daily duties.
  • Individual Development Plans: IDP's - MOBI offers voluntary Individual Development Plans to all employees. These plans define development opportunities and mentoring for the employee. It helps guide them in achieving their career goals within MOBI.
  • Job Shadowing: Job Shadowing - If a MOBI employee is interested in other departments for career opportunities, we allow them to job shadow so they can get a better understanding of the position and see if it is really something they are interested in.
  • Theatre: We have an in-house theatre that employees are able to use at any time. Great for taking a break to watch a movie, play video games or eat some popcorn. We hold meetings in there as well.
  • Holiday Celebrations: Holiday Celebration - The past two years we have enjoyed a Holiday Concert at The Vogue during the Christmas season.
