What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
At Mission1st, we have a culture of hardworking, motivated, loyal, and independent employees. We look for people who embrace challenge and who are not afraid to work in austere and even potentially dangerous job environments. Our employees possess a mission oriented job focus and are driven to go above and beyond what their job description calls for to get the job done. We know we have found the right candidate when their technical background and experience align with job requirements and we can see that they have a venturesome, ‘can do’ attitude. Since we do a lot of work for the US Military we have noticed that being a Veteran is a real plus because they already have a sense of the military culture and are willing to accept challenges. Over half of our employees are Veterans, although we absolutely welcome non-prior service applicants.

Candidates with strong systems engineering and project implementation skills in the information technology and cyber security fields are in demand. Specifically, network engineers, inside and outside plant (cabling) engineers, cyber security specialists and SharePoint experts.
