  • Career Path: This allows each employee to understand what they need to learn, contribute, and achieve to move through a pre- defined career path while in their current role as well as their future role while offering a monitary award. This eliminated all need for a annual merit increase for employees
  • 360 feedback: This allows every employee the opportunity to understand how they are perceived by their supervisor, peer, subordinate and outside customers against the major values and performance standards for their position. It is used developmentally to improve the employee both personally and professionally.
  • DISC Program: All employees complete a DISC profile which gives them a indication of their work behavior tendencies and how they can be more effective dealing with other work styles. It is utilized to increase internal communication and among all levels of the business.
  • Good Impression Pins: When an employee demonstrates that they are living the cultural attributes of McKee Homes -McKee Focus, Continuous Improvement, Passionate, Good People - their peers can nominate them for a Good Impression award.
  • Thumbs Up Program: When an employee goes over and beyond to assist another employee or a customer, employees can be nominated by their peers. All employees votes on who should receive the award.
  • Health Initiatives: We host a company-wide step contest with prizes for the team that takes the most steps. We also provide incentives for having annual check ups, receiving immunizations, participating in a nutritional counseling session, etc. We also offer free fitness classes on a weekly basis.
  • Lending Library: The company stocks current and classic business books for all employees to use at their discretion. Any books requested by employees are bought in a number of formats.
  • Candidate Referral: $500 is paid to any current employee who introduces McKee Homes leadership to an outside candidate for a position and they are consequently hired for that position. $250 is paid when the new hire begins employment and $250 after 3 months of successful employment
  • Staff Events: Once a quarter, all McKee Homes employees that are in-state and out off state assemble at the home office and are given information on how the company is doing against its annual goals as well as participants are engaged in a number of team building exercises as well as fun activities.
