We asked Maestro Health to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Annual Awards: Year-end recognition of standout employees who exemplify team spirit and positive contributions to the organization. Recipients are personally selected by CEO, Rob Butler, and awarded a Seinfeld-themed designation and trophy (as Maestro Health named after “The Maestro” episode of Seinfeld) at the annual holiday party in each location.
  • Maestronite Spotlight: Quarterly recognition of employees nominated by their peers as truly exemplifying Maestro Health core values (Fun, Preparedness, Teamwork, Kindness, Humility, Biz-Love, Urgency, Bold Thought, Honesty). Winners are announced to the entire organization during quarterly Town Hall meetings and are awarded a gift card.
  • Hydration Challenge: Maestro Health sponsors an internal Hydration Challenge during the month of June in honor of Professional Wellness Month. Maestronites (the term used for Maestro Health team members) are given a gift package containing a water bottle, beverage flavor packets, and a log to track their water intake during the weeks of the challenge. The winner is awarded a gift card to a health & fitness store and bragging rights among their peers.
  • Fantasy Leagues: Corporate-managed fantasy leagues during football season promote camaraderie and socialization. Winners receive a prize (dependent on participation and location).
  • Welcome to the mTEAM Packages: Welcome gift bags are given to all new hires on their first day. Coffee mugs, selfie sticks, desk supplies and a copy of the Maestro Health Playbook (authored by CEO, Rob Butler) are all included.  
  • Employee Anniversaries: Recognition and celebration of employees who have worked for the company (or subsidiary) for 5+ years. Anniversaries are celebrated monthly and those celebrating milestones are awarded a trophy and gift certificate in accordance with their experience.
  • In- and Out- of Office Recreation: Razor scooters, corn hole and various games and entertainment (like Apple TV and a Frogger video game machine) provide various ways for employees to take breaks and come together during their time in the office. After work, employees are encouraged to join the corporate volleyball team, participate in 5ks and other fitness events (vary by location).
  • Snacks/Beverages: Snacks and beverages are provided on a regular basis for employee enjoyment.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

We believe anyone who can encompass and respect these values will be a fit for our Maestro Health family.  We believe to be successful at Maestro Health, you must embrace these values.  

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

A prospective employee can get our attention by submitting an engaging resume, making personal contact with us, or by applying through an internal referral.  You will get our attention the most if you embrace the core values mentioned above.  I know all companies say that, but we mean it.  It's so important to us that we love the people we work with every day--and the people we like to work with are the people who are pumped about the core values.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

We will be focusing on software development, relationship management, marketing, benefit administration, and implementation/EDI specialists.  With that said, we are always looking for good people since people are at the core of what we do.  Don't ever hesitate to reach out to us, even if you don't see an open position that fits your experience.  We could be about to post a job that is a perfect fit for you!
