  • Employee of the Quarter: Lucernex selects one employee each quarter as the Employee of the Quarter. The Employee of the Quarter is nominated by his or her peers and/or manager and is then selected by the Executive Team. The Employee of the Quarter receives a beautiful trophy to display at his or her desk and a $500 gift card.
  • Quarterly Bonus Program and Employee Referral Bonuses: Lucernex has a quarterly bonus program that awards employees who score in the top 20-25% on their quarterly goal performance. Employees may receive a quarterly bonus for as many quarters as they are eligible. Bonuses may be over $2,000 per employee and are allocated against a bonus pool. The bonus pool increases as the number of employees increase. In addition, all employees are eligible to receive bonuses for employee referrals.
  • Company Happy Hours: Once a month Lucernex sponsors an employee happy hour at one of our nearby restaurants or drinking establishments. These happy hours not only allow employees the opportunity to socialize outside of work, but employees get to know the members of our Executive Team on a more personal level.
  • Employer Sponsored Insurance: Lucernex offers employees and their dependents free health and dental insurance, as Lucernex pays 100% of the premiums, with very rich plans. This is one of our employees favorite and most valued benefits.
  • Chair Massages: Once a month we have masseuses come into the office to provide 20 minute chair massages to any employee in the office who would like to participate.
  • Holiday Party & Quarterly Potlucks: Each year the company hosts a holiday party for employees and spouses. In addition, about once a quarter we have employee potluck lunches to encourage camaraderie.
  • Birthdays Off: Our employees don't have to work on their birthdays, it's just our way of saying Happy Birthday.
  • Employee Stock Options: All employees are offered the opportunity to purchase stock options. The number of options depends upon the employee's level within the company.
  • Intern Program: Each summer, and occasionally during the school year, Lucernex hires a number of college interns to work in different departments in the company. Interns are provided with mentors and given valuable real world experience. It is our goal to have successful interns return in subsequent years and eventually join Lucernex as regular employees. We have hired a number of valuable Lucernex employees through the internship program.
  • Team Building Outings: Each team at Lucernex has the ability to have a team summit and to participate in team building activities. Some past activities have included Whirly Ball, Pinstack, Escape Room, Pole Position, the Fit Company Challenge and an annual pool party.

    What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

    We look for employees with an entrepreneurial spirit, who have worked with other small companies or start-up organizations before. We also want to see that candidates are passionate about what they do and really want to be part of a fast-paced company that depends upon employees being self-motivated. We also look for good judgment and decision-making abilities. We believe we can train new employees to do a job if they have the skills, but look for a cultural fit above all else.

    What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

    Prospective employees can demonstrate that they have done their research about the company, demonstrate their passion in their chosen career and demonstrate out-of-the box, strategic thinking. We also like candidates who come to interviews prepared to ask questions.
