Perks and Programs

We asked LifeStream Complete Senior Living to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Hearts that Care: LifeStream provides a fund to support associates during times of financial crisis. For example, medical emergencies, transportation emergencies, impending eviction, utility bills or travel to attend a funeral for a loved one.
  • Living It Up: LifeStream believes spontaneous fun makes us a great place to work! For National Pretzel Day last year, we had a custom pretzel food truck visit each community and provide delicious pretzels to the staff. On Valentines Day, managers gave each staff member a personalized candy-gram to share our appreciation.
  • Wellness Wednesday: Once a month, we promote healthy behaviors through education and experiences. For National Stress Awareness month, we provided strategies for managing stress and chair massages to help beat the stress.
  • Living the Promise: Each month, we recognize an associate who has gone above and beyond the call of duty. Our prize patrol surprises the recipient with balloons, a special pin and a $100 handshake from our President/CEO.
  • On Mission Coffee Club: To encourage all of our associates to memorize our mission statement, our CEO makes surprise visits to the communities and randomly seeks out associates who can recite the mission statement. When they get it right, he awards them with a Starbucks gift card.
  • Promise Partners: Promise Partners are recognized by residents, family members or other associates for "keeping the promise" to enrich the lives of seniors. Each Partner receives a gift certificate to purchase LifeStream apparel, movie tickets or gas cards.
  • Good Grades Bonus: To encourage our students working in our dining services departments to be good students in addition to good associates, we provide a “Good Grade Bonus” for each report card with a B average or better.
  • Mentors: We train and equip mentors to walk alongside our newly hired associates and help them assimilate into our culture and their roles. The mentors are provided with training, regular coaching from our Training and Development department and receive an increase in their hourly rate of pay.
  • Back to School Drive: Each summer, our associates and residents collect back to school supplies to support Arizona Baptist Children's Services Arms of Love Foster Care program. In 2017, LifeStream gave enough backpacks and supplies to support all of the children currently in their foster program with enough leftover to support their community resource center as well.
  • Associate Christmas Gifts for Kids: Each Christmas, we welcome associates who need a little extra help during the holidays to participate in our Associate Christmas Gifts for Kids Tree. Associates provide us with a little information about their child(ren) (their age, sizes, needs and wants), then we invite other associates to bless a teammate by buying the gifts. Both the givers and the receivers are blessed when we get to make a child's Christmas a little extra special.
