  • Employee Discount: All associates are eligible to receive a 40% discount on our full-price products beginning the first day of their employment. This enables them to stock up on their favorites and shop for gifts for friends, family, and loved ones.
  • France Incentive Trip: Each holiday season we run an incentive trip contest where every store team is eligible to win a trip to France! Points are awarded to each store for successfully completing sales challenges each day/week. The stores with the most points by the end of the holiday season (one per Region), will win a trip to France. All aspects of the trip are fully organized and coordinated by the company. The itinerary consists of 4 days in the south of France; where winners get to visit our factory, our lavender fields, and experience the roots and history of our brand.
  • Gratis: With each new campaign in stores (roughly every 6-7 weeks) we provide every employee in the company with a free full-size product from the range that is being promoted in stores. This allows our employees to experience and enjoy our products at no cost to them.
  • Summer Fridays: During the summer months, associates in our corporate office take advantage of our Summer Fridays program. The corporate office closes at 1:00pm every Friday between Memorial Day and Labor Day so associates can enjoy a long weekend in the warm weather.
  • Flexible Office Hours: Our flexible office hours provides corporate office associates the flexibility to create their own schedules that are convenient for them, as long as they are in the office between the hours of 10:00am-4:00pm.
  • Maternity Leave: L'Occitane offers corporate office associates on maternity leave a full 12 weeks of paid time off. In addition, associates are allowed and encouraged to take additional vacation and personal time immediately following the maternity leave, for up to a total of 16 weeks leave.
  • Seasonal Sales Associate Incentive Program: During the holiday season we have an award program to recognize outstanding Seasonal Sales Associates. Seasonal Sales Associates are nominated by their Store Managers, who submit stories about how the Seasonal Sales Associate positively impacted their business. District Managers then select the winner for their District. Each winner receives a $500 American Express Gift Card.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

L'Occitane seeks to recreate a unique Provencal experience in the United States. We look for people who have a passion for our products, brand, and philosophy. We look for those who share our company values.  Some of the key attributes we look for are being professional, open, simple, positive, entrepreneurial, respectful, inspiring, being a team player and being your most authentic self.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

As an organization, we like to see prospective employees demonstrate that they have taken the time to research and understand our organization. We have some very unique characteristics, and a candidate who takes the time to research what sets us apart from other luxury beauty companies will really stand out! We also really love to see when a prospective employee already has a passion for the brand, either they already love our products or have tried our products and been in our boutiques.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

We are focused on high level retail management roles. Also, with the spike of online business we are focused on e-Commerce as it is a major platform for the brand.
