We asked Kovach Building Enclosures to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Summer Hours: Every year, between early June and early September, office hours adjust from 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday, to 7:30am - 5:00pm Monday through Thursday, and 7:30am - 1:30pm on Fridays. The primary reason for the adjustment is to create greater availability of office support for field personnel, who start working earlier in the summer.  The shift in hours also allows office employees to start their weekend a few hours early during the hot summer months in which many people enjoy spending their weekends in Northern Arizona to escape the heat! It also aids summer vacations and helps people get out of town a few hours early.
  • Car Pooling: In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint as well as create much needed space in our parking lots, all office and shop employees have the opportunity to car pool to and from work. Each participating member receives $4 for each day they share a ride. This is an easy way to help the environment, help the company, and earn up to $80 per month! Win, win, win.
  • Year of Service Awards: Year of Service Awards are distributed annually to employees who have met 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years of employment. Awards are as follows: 1 Year of Service - Leatherman 3 Years of Service - Travel Bag 5 Years of Service - Jacket 7 Years of Service - Craftsman Tool Set 10 Years of Service - Engraved Watch 15 Years of Service - $500 AMEX Gift Card, Desk Prism 20 Years of Service - $750 Bed and Breakfast Gift Certificate, $250 AMEX Gift Card, Desk Clock 25 Years of Service - $1250 Bed and Breakfast Gift Certificate, $250 AMEX Gift Card, Desk Clock
  • Wellness Program: Kovach Inc. will reimburse an employee’s health club cost, up to $25 per month, with proof of at least 90 days enrollment. Reimbursements are made through payroll on a semi-annual basis at 50%; $150.00 in July and $150.00 in January. All health clubs are accepted for this plan.
  • Company Outings: Kovach puts on a variety of events such as: Annual Employee Recognition Luncheon Annual Kovach Christmas Party (includes spouses and vendors) Salt River Tubing, Bowling, Annual Spring Training Games, Annual Chili Cook-off, Kovach Picnic at the Park.
