  • Kabbage Kares Volunteering Program: Each of our core values is crucial to making Kabbage what it is, but you could argue that “caring deeply” is the company’s cornerstone. It’s important that we step back to ensure what we’re doing supports our teammates, customers, investors and communities. Kabbage Kares provides volunteer opportunities each month – from our annual trip to Camp Twin Lakes to preparing meals for those in need – so all of our offices can serve our communities. Since establishing Kabbage Kares, we’ve had the privilege of working with more than 20 organizations including the Atlanta Community Food Bank, the Boys & Girls Club of San Francisco, PAWS Atlanta, Hope House Foundation, United Way and Souper Bowl of Caring. We’ve walked 100+ miles for epilepsy research, contributed over 360 hours to help children learn with Dream a Dream in India and have collected more than 110 pounds of trash from the Chattahoochee River.
  • Wellness: As part of our core value of Caring Deeply, Kabbage has created a comprehensive program to incorporate wellness into their Kabbage experience. From offering onsite fitness classes to having health equipment and supplies onsite, our goal is to make it easy for team members to be active and healthy. Today, our company-sponsored wellness initiatives range from CPR training to hosting an annual flu shot clinic. In addition to these yearly events, we also are committed to wellness on a day-to-day basis. We serve hot lunches and a fully stocked salad bar every day to keep our team members fueled. Plus, we have healthy snacks dispersed throughout our office to make it easy for our team members to grab a piece of fruit or granola bar when they are in need of some energy. Finally, Kabbage sponsors sports clubs captained by our team members, ranging from kickball to softball.
  • Learning & Development: As we’ve grown as a company, one of our key focuses has been our Learning & Development program. We offer more than 20 onsite courses that range from communication skills to management training. In addition, we also provide mentoring and shadowing programs so our team members can learn from each other as they grow in their careers, or even transition to a new position within the company. We are committed to continuing to invest in interactive career development at Kabbage, as we love seeing our team members grow with us.
  • Sabbatical: To recreate the excitement and reward of summer vacation, our founders decided a sabbatical would be a great way to acknowledge team members for their long-term commitment and contributions over the course of their employment. A sabbatical would encourage loyalty, of course, but also would demonstrate to our team members how much we value them, that we want them to have incredible and interesting lives outside of work and that we recognize their commitment as something special. When discussing how to structure a sabbatical program, Kabbage’s leaders knew it needed to be compelling. They decided a six-week sabbatical after every five years of continuous work felt like the right length of time. On top of that, the sabbatical is fully paid. If that weren’t enough, they decided to include a $6,000 stipend to encourage team members to do something memorable with family and friends.
  • Food & Drink: If you like sipping cold-brewed coffee while developing your professional skills next to your coworker’s dog, Kabbage just might be the place for you. Whether it’s our Starbucks coffee machines, beer on tap or our fully stocked fridge, we cover all of our bases when it comes to food and drink. We offer catered lunch daily that includes vegetarian and gluten-free options and always features a full salad bar. Whether you’re eating naughty or nice, we have a snack to suit your taste from ice cream and fun-sized candies to hummus, fruit and trail mix.
  • Hack Day: Each year, we form cross-functional teams to work on new products, features or process improvements. It's our chance to step away from our normal tasks and compete for a chance to have our names on the coveted Hack Day trophy.
