What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
We recruit and interview candidates for cultural fit because understanding and supporting our culture will help grow our company and complement the dedicated team working at JM Family. We keep our culture at the center of the recruiting process. We employ techniques that enable us to evaluate what skills and experience candidates can develop. We also use behavioral interviewing to gain a better understanding of whether individuals have demonstrated similar characteristics to our core values in previous positions. Our goal is to hire and retain associates who can develop not only in their careers, but also contribute to our culture and organization as a whole.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
Potential new associates stand out by showing they have a dedicated interest in not just the position, but our company and our culture. Candidates who have completed research on our organization and understand our history, corporate mission, and focus on giving back will put themselves ahead of their competition. Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
We are always seeking talented candidates with diverse backgrounds. Some of the open positions we anticpate for the upcoming year include roles with automotive experience in Finance, Service and Sales as well as corporate positions in Accounting, IT and Marketing. We are also focusing on recruiting for diversity including bilingual candidates and veterans.
