  • Dependent Children Education Assistance: The company offers financial assistance for associates’ children’s post-secondary education costs. Eligible costs include tuition and textbooks. Awards were given to 120 students to help with their post-secondary school expenses.
  • LIFE Wellness: The company demonstrates its commitment to health and wellness through a variety of programs encouraging associates and their families to take an active role in establishing and maintaining good health. J. J. Keller follows the Wellness Council of America’s (WELCOA) benchmarks and has been awarded the WELCOA Platinum Well Workplace Award. Elements of our health and wellness program include: onsite health clinics, cafeterias, fitness center, health assessments for associates and spouses, health coaching, educational series & tools, K-LIFE incentive program where associates and spouses earn points toward their J.   • Active in the Community: A key strategic belief for J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. is giving back and being an active leader in our community. Through associate support and a unique partnership with the J. J. Keller Foundation, a separate entity, we are strongly dedicated to making the community we live and work a better place. Our associates have the opportunity to engage in community give-back programs through an established gifting program, where associates’ charitable contributions are matched by the Foundation up to $1,000 per year. Give-back programs include Habitat for Humanity home builds, Junior Achievement, United Way, Catalpa Health’s Race for a Reason, Marketing and Technology Give Camps, Associate selected non-profit of choice program and other benevolent work in the community.
  • START Program: START (Sales Talent And Retention Team) was created as a way to better train and on-board sales associates and drive retention in our sales force. This program uses an integrated curriculum that blends both classroom and application methods for higher quality and more effective training. START allows new associates to learn through a consistent and proven training methodology and places them into areas within the organization where they will be most successful. START associates benefit from a longer training process, a better job fit and a built in networking group. Since implementing the program in 2009, we have had 246 associates go through the program and have seen a 22% increase in our retention.
  • Gain Sharing & Profit Sharing: The Associate Principle of Shared Responsibilities and Shared Results is further defined by the company’s practice of sharing company profits with our associates. It is the policy of the company to distribute a quarterly gain sharing award to associates who are not covered under another incentive/bonus program. Gain sharing of $2,445,863.31 was paid out in 2015. The company also contributes a portion of its profits to the J. J. Keller Profit Sharing Retirement Plan on an annual basis with $5 million being contributed in 2015.
  • Technology Day: In 2016, Technology Day provided more than 200 J. J. Keller technology associates and more than 25 members of the community the opportunity to experience the latest innovations from J. J. Keller and hear more about current technology trends. This event provided insider insights and fresh thinking to elevate the importance of technology in our business as well as our community.
  • Ship It Days: J. J. Keller developers and technology associates take part in "Ship It Days" two times a year. Teams collaborate and brainstorm ideas to develop a new product or solution within 24 hours. Team members have the autonomy to determine what they will develop. This team event enhances their technical knowledge, creativity and delivers industry innovations aimed to improve the customer experience.
  • Flex Time: At J. J. Keller, we have a culture that is rich in family values. Being an associate enables a lifestyle that includes flexibility and work/life balance. Our Flex Time program allows associates to use up to 4 hours each week to flex without having to use PTO. In addition, new associates are advanced 4 months of accrued PTO time upon hire, and we provide an additional option to purchase up to 1 week of PTO accrual to help ensure associates have the flexibility they need to manage their life and personal events.
  • Environmental Initiatives: It is our policy to demonstrate leadership and excellence in the areas of safety and environmental initiatives. We have made a commitment to continuous improvement in waste reduction and pollution prevention through a variety of initiatives such as:  ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems Certification,  in process of merging our safety program to gain ISO 45001 certification expected to be published in 2017, wind turbines to reduce our carbon footprint, associate carpool program, recycling committee and program, EPA SmartWay Partner since 2008, and Stewardship committee.
  • Horizon Club: The Horizon Club is corporate sponsored and funded associate run organization responsible for organizing recognition for associates who have been with the company for five or more years. On November 10, 2015, 824 J. J. Keller associates were recognized at the annual dinner banquet and recognition ceremony for serving the company for five or more years. The Horizon Club also plans and organizes several events, that are open to all associates, throughout the year to build camaraderie and family fun including: Wisconsin Dells Trips, Brewer games, Packers games, winery tours, Easter bunny visits, golf outings, painting and more. In 2015, the Horizon Club sponsored more than 20 events with associate participation ranging from 40 to 500 at each event.
