We asked Intellinet to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Consulting Bonus Program: Intellinet consultants have the opportunity to earn an additional $10-$20k per year through the Consulting Hourly Bonus Incentive. Through this program, consultants will earn $50 per hour for any billable hour over 80 billable hours in a two-week pay period (adjusted for holiday weeks).
  • Sabbatical Program: Intellinet provides a 2-week sabbatical to reward employees who demonstrate loyalty to the Company by reaching momentous milestones of service. Employees who complete five years of employment are rewarded with the 2-week paid sabbatical in addition to their annual PTO accrual for that year. Another sabbatical is earned at the completion of ten years of employment, and every five years thereafter.
  • Profit Sharing Plan (PSP): To incent all employees to be wise stewards by maximizing profit and impact to Intellinet, a percentage of the operating profit above 15% goes into the Bonus Pool on a “stair-stepped” basis which will accrue and be paid out based upon three variables - annual salary earned to date, innovation accelerator, and tenure accelerate.
  • Employee Relations Perks: Intellinet believes strongly that day-to-day work should be fun and therefore invests in opportunities to bring its dispersed workforce together and make the overall Intellinet employment experience more enjoyable. These include company sponsored luncheons, monthly milestone celebrations, company happy hours, summer family event, athletic club events, and annual holiday party celebration.
  • Health and Wellness Program: To support employee wellness, Intellinet offers a health club reimbursement for all employees as well as “lunch and learns” on clean eating and healthy living. In addition, Intellinet selects a 5k race or another “athletic” event periodically for employees to participate in together. Intellinet reimburses employees for any associated fees. Athletic Club events have included hiking, bike riding, 5ks and walks for charity.
  • Intellinet Serves Program: Intellinet Serves was created to fulfill our goal of servant leadership and live out the core value of Service. We are committed to promoting and supporting the non-profit initiatives of individual employees, providing company sponsored volunteer opportunities, and incorporating the act of giving into company events. Intellinet through its Intellinet Serves and Intellinet Foundation has supported over 50 local, national, and global charities and donated over $1.2M since its inception in 1993.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

At Intellinet our solutions are business-driven and our culture is results-oriented.  Those who thrive here are self-motivated, passionate, and have the ability to understand and discuss the business value of their specific technology expertise and how it impacts a client’s organization.  In consulting, excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.  We welcome those looking for a long-term career and a place to grow in business, technical, and leadership capacities.   

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

Those that are passionate about what they do, demonstrate business acumen, and show leadership abilities will stand out among the rest.  We believe leadership can be exhibited in several ways – from leading teams, to leading clients, to leading an idea.  From a technical perspective, it is important for employees to have deep knowledge and capabilities in their area of expertise.  We also highly value prospective employees who demonstrate passion and thought leadership by being active in the technology community.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

In the coming year we are looking to bring on more business-focused management consultants.  We are growing heavily in the areas of business strategy, project management, organizational change management, and business analysis.  We are also looking to hire more junior-level technical consultants - those that have the right personality, passion, and cultural fit but have room to grow in their technical area of expertise.  We have the technical leadership and processes to mentor and groom those with the potential to become consulting all-stars.
